I love Alan Rickman, so I loved the way he portrayed Turpin. I actually felt bad for him when he realized that Sweeney was Benjamin Barker, and Sweeney killed him... even though he totally deserved it. x]

I do know I really wanted to see Sweeney in the beginning because of him. ;o>><<

True true Moon. In the broadway he has a song that explains that he actually feels bad for what he feels for Johanna and he asks god to curse him but then the passion he has for her takes over and he goes.....down. But yes, he is amazing because Allan Rickman played him.
