How to play 1.0I’m sure you’re wondering how to play. Of course you would be. Why else would you be here? If you’re playing, you’ll be doing a lot of random number posts, I will tell you that now. But I will use Raum, ladykayra’s Canis Cambia, as an example.
Raum, being full grown and the leader of the Canis Cambia’s, has the full advantage of the massive amounts of hearts that Canis Cambia’s receive, at the time I’m writing this, 20 hearts. (look at the growth charts with the Pet Descriptions for more info, though note that the leaders of each clan of pets get an automatic heart boost). Due to his massive wings, he also has the ability ‘Fly’ and Canis Cambia’s all have the ability “Treluen Wind”, the twister ability, and “Rave Bolt”, the strongest lightning ability.
Thought his attack is thunderously strong (ignore the pun), his defense is not as good. Having to be as light and agile for his massive attacks, it leaves his without ample shields. If hit by attacks, he gets the full hit, compared to some other creatures who have shields or abilities that reduce attacks’ effects.
At full health and abilities, his chart would look something like this. (For explanation purposes, I also maxed out his abilities).
Raum
Raum – Canis Cambia (leader)Hearts: 20/20
Attack—Treluen Wind: Level 2; Rave Bolt: Level 2; (last attack: n/a)
Defense – None.
Special Abilities: Fly: Level 1 (last used: n/a)
Currently at: Premél
Abilities can only be used every so often. For the Treluen Wind, at Raum’s level, it is once a day, while the Rave Bolt is every 12 hours. This is just so no one user decides to continuously fire and wipe the whole floor of players in an hour. (I don’t doubt it would happen either if I didn’t put a capper down). See the list of abilities under the Shop for the times in between strikes and more specific information about them, and their levels.
How you attack is by posting with a random number. At your location, you will have a list of all the opposing sides members. Note that you can only attack the opposing side. Also, every 4 pets there is a miss slot, so you don’t land hits every time. You will use that group of numbers (ex. If there are 20 pets in Premél on the opposing side, you will have to chose a random number from 1-25 (5 slots for the miss are included)).
Here’s an example list using ladykayra’s FM pets, supposing they were the only ones at Premél at the time. (She has exactly 8, without counting Jasper, her custom, so it worked out well.)
1. Akari
2. RanRan
3. Mana
4. Alex
5. Miss Slot
6. Raum
7. Kuroi
8. Gin
9. Eclipse
10. Miss Slot
Suppose a Mimitan Canis Cambia attacked the city with a Level 6 Treluen Wind, which in Level 6, strikes twice with a hit point of 5. The owner rolled a 10 and then in the following post, a 9 (poor Eclipse… aww…). The first attack was a miss, but 5 hearts would be taken from Eclipse for being hit by the second attack.
Defense abilities and items are automatic and usually are effective when attacks hit. Healing abilities and special abilities are played out the same way as attacks, unless you wish it to not be random, then you have to specify which pet you are healing (only comrades).
Attacking, special abilities and healing require these forms, though they will be posted in all of the city’s threads, I’ll post them here as well.

Once a certain pet has fallen (ran out of hearts) all of his or her stats will be taken out of the pets and owners list and the word Fallen will appear next to its name. Unless an error has occurred, this cannot be reversed. In the lineup, to prevent confusion, once a pet has fallen, the number will not be replaced with another pet, but just become another miss spot. That way, hopefully no errors will occur with the participants or staff.
Also, all beginning pets begin in the capital city for their respective side. All pets have the minimum of 6 hearts to begin with, meaning even the weakest pet will have at least 6 hearts.
Hopefully, that’s thorough enough to satisfy everyone, but if it needs to be edited, a new version will be put in with edits (hence the 1.0 at the end of the post title).
