I have played piano for five years, but am on the 7-year level, because my teacher had me skip 2 levels. My favorite piece to play is either Little Prelude by Bach, or Fur Elise. 2 years (or maybe 3) ago, i won in my state for my age group in patriotic/folk song category playing "you're a grand old flag" (i know kinda lame.) I am actually having a concert today and going to state competition next week! I also play french horn, violin (well i used to i quit) and viola. YAAY BAND GEEKS!!!!

I've been playing... 8 years about. Up to Chopin... really, it's tiring playing his songs. I don't want to play 10 pages, and like... a million measures of trills T___T

i play piano and violin and flute and im in choir
i love all my instruments but i started with piano and ive been playing it for 5 years. my fav songs to play is fur elise, clair de lune, and eyes on me from final fantasy

I play piano. I have been playing it since I was like 3. ( I guess.... 13 years? I dunno)
I am not really that good at sight reading or reading music for piano at all, since I have never learned how to read piano music. I taught myself how to play. When I learn a song, I play by ear.
My favorite song to play right now is either

or...

or....
One Winged Angel by Nobuo Uematsu. (I am still working on that one though)
I am working on Let the Battles Begin! by Nobuo Uematsu (though its really hard... lol)

hitsuji-ownz-yew Ohhh!!! I play the piano~ I've been playing for... 8 years now I believe? Yupp, eight. Actually, learning to play the piano seems to inspire people to hate metronomes. At least, my friend and I do because of piano sweatdrop lol amen to that. I took it for a while (had to quit due to college) and it DEFINITLY made me hate the metronome. lol but then i tought piano for a year and realised... XD Some students have no idea how to keep a beat XD So then it became my revenge to have them hate it too lolll razz WoOoOt piano players !! biggrin I also learnt to play the flute and french horn... hate the flute xd and french horn and piano are now on par... *sigh* whatever would we do without music huh?

I have played piano for 6 years. And heart it! smile Something embarrassing, I can't reach an octave!!!!!! (tiny hands) One time, I won a state competition! I luff playing "America" from West Side Story. It roxx!!! Oh, and I play viola and french horn, plus I used to play violin (hated it, viola's cooler xD)

i play keyborad, does that count? i didn't learn from anyone. i taught myself to play from using my clarinet sheet music and books. ha ha. i absolutley LOVE it. i love making up new things and everything. i can't play with two hands really. when i do, it's only melody. i can't play with my left hand on the chord. only melody for me. XD im pretty good tho. i taught myself to play "Bella's Lullaby" from Twilight on the keyboard. our jazz band has a tryout for keyboard and i might do it. in our jazzband, we usually have two players so they can only realy on one hand. *cheers* one of my friends hopes i get it with her. she is way better at it than me. she can play with two hands and alot more than me. XD
I would have to say my favorite thing to play is "Grandfather's Clock". nothing special, but it's easy. Another thing is "Variations on A French Carol". we played that in our christmas concert and i abolutley fell in LOVE with the piece. XD

I've been playing piano for almost 6 years now. Last April, I played the solo part to George Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue, which was one of the greatest musical experiences I've ever had. Now that I have a lot more free time, I've been learning different pieces ranging from Debussy to Oginsky to Hisaishi (who is by far my favorite modern classical composer, Hisaishi ftw!!!). But my main goal is to learn Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody #2 for my senior solo next may. It's gonna be hard, but I'm determined to succeed!
Can't you just tell I'm a music nerd? XD

I've been playing piano for about 8 years or so. Though I couldn't afford to continue lessons about 3 and a half years ago since I moved to another country. The last piece my teacher gave me was The 'Revolutionary' Etude by Chopin though I haven't been able to get past the first few pages, lol. My favorite pieces are David Benoit's "Kei's Song" and "Reminiscence" by Miki Higashino from Suikoden 2. I play a lot of video game music and sometimes I try to play by ear.
I also started playing percussion for a symphonic band about 3 years ago. And I also took up the Irish tin whistle on the side.
