Someone PM'ed me and brought up this idea. This is meant to be a place where pregnant women and mothers can post their stories and experiences relating to being pregnant, giving birth, life post delivery, and so on. 3nodding Pretty basic.
Have fun! If you don't want to post and just want to read what other people have to say, that's ok too of course.

I'll be first!
I'll talk about the baby moving, cause that's my favorite part of pregnancy.
Okay, so..you know you're pregnant right? Maybe its yay, maybe its oh s**t, right? But you decide you'll have the baby. When it comes down to it, the best part of being pregnant is when you finally realize.."That's not gas..thats the baby!" right? You're just sitting there one day doing nothing and you feel this little...bubble, I guess, roll across your belly and come to find out, thats your little bundle of baby saying hi momma!
Its the most wonderful feeling I've ever experienced. Even when the baby keeps me up all night kicking and squirming, it makes me feel good that the baby is healthy and active. I lay there with my hand on my belly just feeling my little one just push at me and kick and tumble right there in my belly. Gets me through the day sometimes, it does.
So, forget the ultrasound and positive pregnancy test, look forward to those kicks and rolls. They're amazing. <3

Im 8 months in and I will never forget the day I went in to see my ultra sound. I laied there with my bf at my side and we both nearly cried when we see the little baby move its arm and yawn for the first time.
the first time I felt the baby kick was amazing I was lid down and reading and I seen a something push from the inside. I had to tell my mom what I saw and when I told her I will never forget the look of awe on her face. My mom almost cried when she felt my baby kick.
7 weeks from now I will be able to hold my lil baby boy or girl and give his/her anything his/her heart desires.

Hey... Um... favorite parts of being pregnant: The kicks and seeing your baby move on the ultrasound screen. Oh and being able to take the ultrasound pictures home. 4laugh
Labor/Birth: Well, mine went pretty fast. My membranes broke around 10:30 am. Got to hospital around 11:00 am. Sat in bathtub full of warm water (if you have bad backpain when you go into labor SIT IN BATHTUB! it helps a lot!!!) Around 4:40 pm they broke my water. Skye Trinity Amore' Raymond was born at 5:06pm on June 22, 2009. I only pushed for 26 minutes. No drugs. I can't really describe what it feels like when the baby come through the birth canel... kinda like pooping out knives from your vag... No to scare you sweatdrop Best thing about being a mom: The smiles. Everytime she smiles at me my heart melts and I smile a big one. Hardest to deal with: The tears. When s/he gets their first tears you feel horrible. And shots... I'm dreading when she goes to get shots.

I'm gonna be the weird guy here for a moment and post somewhere where moms are supposed to tell the story. Let me tell you from a guy's point of view. Pregnancy: When my girlfriend was pregnant, the mood swings were the worst. I would say one little thing and she'd blow up on me. But then she'd calm down and I loved that part. Guys also love when the baby kicks. I don't know what it's like to actually feel it from the inside, but I know that I would get just as excited when it kicked as my girlfriend did. Labor: The labor was horrible. I hated seeing my girl in pain and was glad when we got to the hospital and they gave her those drugs. It was pretty intense waiting. 12 hours seemed like days. But when the doctor handed me the baby, (as you girls say) my heart melted at the beauty of the baby. Afterwards: Unfortunatelly...my baby's mom turned bad. She started doing drugs and couldn't handle the child appropriatelly. Not long ago, I went to court to gain custody of my daughter. Now she's four and I love her. I have custody of her and I spoil her more than any mother would like. (For some reason, yall girls don't like spoiling your children too much...but I don't care. I want my little girl to have the best)

I'm pregnant now, and it is the BEST feeling in the whole freaking world to have a baby inside you. It makes you want to cry when she moves, and you can just look down at our belly and say "Wow. He/She's mine. My own little baby." I hope the labor goes well! Wish me luck!! heart heart heart heart

Kicks. For sure, and the actual birth was the best by far. However, the contractions BEFORE the birth was literally the worst pain I've had in years... Ultrasounds were the second best.
^ That's one of my ultrasounds from my sixth month of pregnancy with Rhonda. It was a very strange experience for me, and the gel they used was EXTREMELY cold, and I can still remember it. It was so cold it felt like it stung. xD

I always feel weird when people talk about how wonderful pregnancy is and/or was for them because I hated it! I had morning sickness 8 of the 9 months and my baby was really active in the womb.
I also felt cheated during my labor. I was induced and ended up with an emergency c-section because her heartrate was extremely high. After labor, my daughter and I ended up with high fevers.
With that being said... I love being a mother! I wouldn't trade it for the world!
Not sure if I want to go through that again so she may be my only child...
