Some History

Before Earth was destroyed, Many other planets were contested between Humans and Drej. There were Bloody struggles that often ended with Human Control. This was not Absolute, however. One such planet was Persin 2. In the record books, it was an infamous place. After a record 4 years of battle and pain, the humans finally forced the Drej off of the planet. just as they were beginning to place their orbital cannons and such, the deadly Drej Mothership, known among the Troops as the DrejNought (word-play on the battleship type "Dreadnought" wink , Warped in and Destroyed the entire Planet, just as it would later do to earth...

A Ranger for more than 14 years, He joined the Earth Army immediately after High School. Though he was tought mostly automatic weapons, he had always loved when his group was taken to a sniper training session, though it was brutal each time. But while his future squadmates bellyached about the Sniping Practice, Roy was thoroughly thrilled. His teachers noticed this, and soon after began to specialize him for sniping. he would be the best of his kind.
7 years after joining the Army, the war broke out between Human and Drej. 2 years into the war, he was put in command of his own squad for the first time. They worked quick and efficiently, and he was promoted numerous times. 3 years in, he and 19 other Rangers were on a scouting mission when they were ambushed by Multiple Drej Platoons on the infamous planet of Persin 2. Against impossible odds, in a situation where a normal squad leader would've cracked in minutes, Roy led his team out of the area by cover of night. 3 men died that night, but 17 survived. He was again Commended and Promoted. Later, his men were transfered to Persin 3, which had already been claimed by the humans. 2 days later, the Drejnaught annihilated Persin 2.
Now, he is an exceptionally skilled Sniper, capable of doing the "Mad Minute." (The name comes from British WWI soldiers, and originally meant being able to put out 30 rounds from the then-standard rifle in 60 seconds. now, it means being able to disintegrate 30 Drej in a minute, something few soldiers can do) Roy is in charge of His own 19 man squad, is revered by all of them as an exceptional leader, and many find him to be a good friend. He now maintains one of multiple Outposts in the Forest Region of Crenator 3 with his and 3 other squads.
