just wondering if anyone in the guild was in it.
i have personally never believed in paying to be a fan. but many of the fbr bands have fan clubs that you have to pay to get into.
but it seems pretty reasonable to me, tickets before the public, meet and greets, TONS of news 24/7, etc. but, 30 bucks?!
after reading all of pmore's lj posts, it seems to me that they sorta appreciate their fan club members a bit more. /:
opinions?

Pssh, I can't afford it. The benefits would be nice, but it's not a huge deal to me.
I'd just end up making a fool out of myself if I got to meet them anyway. xD
Unfortunately, most artists do appreciate their fan club members more, and it is a little sad.

for 30 bucks + shipping and handling, you get:
`forums with which to you can talk to other fans with.
`a chance for a meet & greet with the band when they come to your town. (which i heard from people is a 50/50 chance.)
`fan club t-shirt
`presale tickets/merchandise before the public
`more love from the band & the chance to say to others, "oh hay. i'm in Paramore's official fan club." (LOL. just kidding.)
i'd love to join, but i probably won't until i get my own credit card. :|

I joined the FOB fan club a few years ago, it was pointless so I decided not to join the paramore one and when I was at their show and waiting in line a guy came out and said "EVERYONE THAT IS IN THE PARAMORE FAN CLUB, HAYLEY WOULD LIKE TO SPEAK TO YOU!" and everyone who had a little fan club thing got to go play fooseball with Hayley. So if you are planning to see them i would consider joining.

I don't think that you should really have to pay 30 bucks, but I mean it makes sense for all of the stuff that you get when you are in the official fan club
