With two team members down and with Martha and Mikey joining Jack Harkness in his walk off into the sunset after the last episode of doctor who.
I reckons that they are joining the torchwood team...i am sure other people think that too as its soooo obvious. I dunno whether they have been confirmed. Obviously Martha's already joined the team before so its not a big step.

What're your thoughts? Think they will join the team?
Would you be happy if they did?

I don't know how/whether that would work.

I think Torchwood would start to look like the Doctor Who drop-out show. That would just be weird.

Then again, I love Martha, soo... xD

I think it would be cool if they both joined. Martha's already been a part of it before, so already knows the team anyway, and Mickey worked for Torchwood in the parallel universe so he'd be used to that sort of work. Plus, he knows Jack, so he'd fit in too.

Then again, although they'd fit in, it could be too much Doctor Who in Torchwood. What I've always admired about the way Torchwood is written is that it could be seperate from Doctor Who, even though they are essentially in the same fictional universe.

I don't think anything has been announced yet, but whatever the decision, I can't say I'll be too bothered either way.

Yeah, Martha and Mickey will be good additions to the Torchwood team.
It would be a bit wierd though, i just wonder what Gwen and Ianto would think of it, they've met Martha before, but Mickey that's another story. xd sweatdrop

Mickey is no replacement for Tosh. Martha is a decent replacement for Owen ...

But I have to say, "no s**t". We were talking about this in the Doctor Who forum.

We'll find out next month when it starts production.

I honestly doubt either one will permanently join Torchwood. They're just too Doctor Who. And as much as Torchwood is a spin off of Doctor Who, I think they are still trying to give it it's own identity. And really, what would Martha and Mickey joining say but that Torchwood gets Doctor Who's castoffs.

But it would be fairly cool.
