The angels, not half so happy in heaven, Went envying her and me- The wind came out of the cloud by night, Chilling and killing my Annabel Lee.I was just thinking about making a RuroKen thread. Although I personally like the manga better. The storyline for the anime veers off in weird directions after the third season. You don't get to see all of the amazing stuff that's in the Enishi/Revenge Arc! emo
But the anime does have funny fillers and voices and great songs! sweatdrop Hmm, which am I going to take the side of? *huddles in corner and has a breakdown* And so, all the night-tide, I lie down by the side Of my darling- my darling- my life and my bride, In her tomb by the sounding sea.

I've always leaned toward evil/neutral evil characters. And so, all the night-tide, I lie down by the side Of my darling- my darling- my life and my bride, In her tomb by the sounding sea.

Ah, Rurouni Kenshin. It's one of my all-time favorite shows. I have the second season box set, but I'd really like to have the first season as well. Maybe for Christmas...?
Anyway, my favorite character is, of course, Kenshin himself. I absolutely adored him back in junior high, and I still care about him an awful lot. I keep thinking about the interview with his seiyuu at the end of Seishohen: "Please love Kenshin forever", she said. Well, she doesn't need to worry about that; because he'll always have a special place in my heart.
After re-watching the second season, I must say that Saitoh comes close as a second favorite character. I don't remember liking him too much as a young teen, but now that I'm older I appreciate his maturity compared to some of the other characters on the show, as well as his sarcastic attitude.

Talk about the second love of my life!
Kenshin was a show I grew up with. By far I enjoy every character in the show since they all have that distinct personality. It was one of the few historic fictions I actually enjoyed.
Currently I have half of the manga collection, but I do have the novel they recently released. I've also grabbed the 'Character Profiles' book that contains the list of character as well as some story arc information. Viz Media has been releasing the BIG collection which I have all of ^_^. As for the anime, I have the first collector's box set, the one that costs $80 -_- But it was well worth it. Sooner or later, when I run into some money I will be able to complete my lost collection by getting the rest of them. You know what is also funny...the first sword I ever bought was a replica reverse-blade.

Rurouni Kenshin is my all time favorite. My favorite is a tie between Kenshin himself and Sano. I also like the manga more then I do the anime.
