HK MP5

User Image

Spec's: 30 Round Magazine (9mm)

Bio: The MP5 is a 9 mm submachine gun of German design, developed in the 1960s by a group of engineers from the West German arms manufacturer Heckler & Koch GmbH (HK). The company, motivated by the success of the G3 rifle developed a group of small arms consisting of four types of firearms (all based on the G3 design layout), where the first type was chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO, the second – using the 7.62x39mm M43 round, third – the intermediate 5.56x45mm NATO caliber and the fourth type – chambering the 9x19mm Parabellum pistol cartridge. The MP5 (short for Maschinenpistole 5) was created within the fourth group of firearms, initially known as the HK54.

HK UMP45

User Image

Spec's: 25 Round Magazine (.45 ACP)

Bio: The UMP is a blowback-operated, magazine-fed submachine gun firing from a closed bolt.[1] As originally designed, the UMP is chambered for larger cartridges than other submachine guns like the MP5, to provide more stopping power against unarmored targets (with a slightly lower effective range) than the 9x19mm MP5 provides. A larger cartridge produces more recoil, and makes control more difficult in fully automatic firing. To mitigate this, the cyclic rate of fire was reduced to 650 rounds per minute (600 for UMP45), which makes it one of the slower firing submachine guns on the market. Such a slow rate of fire makes a burst-fire setting superfluous; yet many users regard a 2- or 3-round burst setting to be a desirable feature in a submachine gun.

Spec's: 30 Round Magazine 9mm)

Bio: The Steyr TMP (Tactical Machine Pistol) is a select-fire 9x19mm Parabellum caliber machine pistol manufactured by the Austrian company, Steyr Mannlicher. It is renowned for its controllability, allowing a shooter to accurately fire the gun in bursts of up to 15 or 30 (the full magazine size), instead of the typical 3-shot or 2-shot bursts that other submachine guns are limited to. HK MP7A1

User Image

Spec's: 40 Round Magazine (4.6mm)

Bio: The MP7 is a German submachine gun manufactured by Heckler & Koch (H&K) and chambered for the 4.6x30mm cartridge. It was designed in conjunction with the new cartridge to meet NATO requirements published in 1989 calling for a personal defense weapon (PDW) class firearm with a greater ability to defeat body armor than current weapons, which are limited due to the use of conventional pistol cartridges. The MP7 went into production in 2001. It is a direct rival to the FN P90 also developed in response to NATO's requirement. The weapon has been revised since its introduction and the current production version is the MP7A1 (see Variants).
