I had a few more ideas that I wanted to run by you guys:
Peer edits: a forum for peer editing/reviews
An interpretation forum: each week or so we pick a piece of artwork, a song (just the music, no lyrics) or a dance or something and we write about what we think that "poet" is trying to say, if they had used words instead of pictures, music or movement.
Panda's Shoppe: I think she should reopen it. We could all work there and it could be great advertisement!
The Coffee House: I think we should make a mini-role play just for fun. We can talk about all the things we do normally....just in role play form. As practice, to work out your thinking muscles. (brains.) xp

Great ideas. n___n Absolutely magnifique! <3 We must do the peer edits forum. And since we already have a roleplay subforum, I'll go make a coffee house thread! c:
For that interpretation forum... do you think I should create a subforum for that purpose?

Well I can't say I'm big on the interpretation thing. I have enough of that in my english classes. ><
But I like the last two fo sho. >:] (by the way, fo sho became my new phrase for a while....till I get a new one....)

yeah, i know what you mean. but maybe each member can pick one piece each week, and its not like you have to really dig into the poem like you would in -grumble- English class. xD heck, maybe you think the person was trying to convey their deep love of taco bell burritos. c; like this poem says! <3 -posted for the sole purpose of billy collinsness- :] I ask them to take a poem and hold it up to the light like a color slide
or press an ear against its hive.
I say drop a mouse into a poem and watch him probe his way out,
or walk inside the poem's room and feel the walls for a light switch.
I want them to waterski across the surface of a poem waving at the author's name on the shore.
But all they want to do is tie the poem to a chair with rope and torture a confession out of it.
They begin beating it with a hose to find out what it really means. -Billy Collins
