ButterBalls It's cool, just take your time. Thanks for the sites I'll look into them a little later.
Yeah, that makes a lot of sense to cut down and eat more when I'm doing that. I just never really know when I'm going to be doing something like that and when I'm not but I can always adjust. What exactly are "good" carbs too eat. Because normally I would just have some chips to mow down and be on my way to do more stuff. And I obviously can't just eat bread or cereal everytime.
Yeah, ramen is good for a while and then it gets kind of weird. I don't really do the things to lose weight though so I definitely have to watch my eating. On an average day I don't really get all that much exercise.
Yeah, I was thinking like thirty pounds or something. I don't know, it really doesn't even matter how much weight I lose but how I look. I could gain five pounds but be skinny with muscle, that's cool. It's more so that I get the fat off. And our gym is getting a little out of shape. It's been there for a few years and not everything is as new as it probably should be. Some machines squeek and have wear on them. I'm not really complaining it just seems like to me that if you owned a place like that you wouldn't want that.
And definitely get the fat off my: chin, stomach, waist, and quads. That's where I want it the most.
My daily crap everyday is on average this:
20 min 4.5 10 min 3.5 on treadmill. Around 80 situps a day. 20 pushups (eh, it's not many) (If I'm at the gym) I'll do around 5 mins on a bike.
But it varies. For example, I did 140 situps yesterday.
And on average my daily intake is:
Banana or cereal Sandwich Dinner. Ex: chicken and rice.
Any improvements I should make or? It's not really 'good' and 'bad' carbs. Just try to cut out down a bit on things that are unhealthy. If you don't want to, that is fine as well. Just try to eat thing that are high in carbs in the morning because by your excercise schedule (and the fact you said it's daily), it won't hurt to have a lot in the morning. Your Gym may be a bit 'rusty', but think of it like this.... You've got one to help you out. wink You're workout seems really good, considering I really haven't done all that much for working out and still managed to lose a bit of weight. The only problem is that eventually you'll hit your plateau, and weight loss will be very difficult to do. I hit that point at 180 pounds, and once i get DDR I'm determined to bust through that barrier. And, just for fun, I'll throw in a comic that would describe my situation perfectly if I was a webcomic artist xd DDR: A Battle With Your BrainI'm just glad I'm actually being able to help right now, so I'll be more than happy to try and answer anything else you've got to ask. blaugh

[CherryBlossom] I know but you won't be as active. With low GI you won't feel full, you just won't feel hungry. For example you take a chocolate bar and a low fat egg sandwich. You decide to eat the chocolate but in a couple of hours or less you feel hungry again. If you chose the egg sandwich you will be filled up for longer because if releases energy slower. Rice I don't know but rice cakes are carbs but I don't know about really high. Carbs are important, you can't cut them our completly. As I said before eating them for breakfast will raise your energy levels and you will be less likely to snack in the morning. There is a thing called complex cards which is rice, pasta, bread which is good carbs. They will keep you healthy, they are just not good to eat for all three meals. I think carbs get a bad name from the bad carbs such as cakes and biscuits because they are fatty and don't fill you for as long as complex carbs. Keep with it, it will help. The first couple of weeks can feel like a b***h but then you should be seeing a change. Remember sit ups focus more on toning, you need to be doing another exercise you help lose weight as well as toning. Running is the best but if you don't like running you could go to a gym and they will give you an exercise program. This one is hard. When your stomach rumbles? Nah not really. Well if your stomach goes into cramps and you can barley stand up then you are very hungry, which is bad. I don't know sorry, I think it's different for different people. You just get a weird feeling in your stomach. But you know your satisfied when your stomach feels comfortable, not sore from hungry or feeling full. Again I know how you feel. It can be annoying but think how bad it would be if you don't stick with it. Be careful you don't develope and eating disorder or become obsessed with exercise, it sounds to me like that could happen. Humans need food to function so if you eat healthy don't feel fat and we can't exercise everyday. Take one day off a week to rest, that way you will get better quality sessions of exercise the rest of the week. Even Olympic people take a rest day. They end to take one every 8th or 9th day. Yes, well, it's just my time to go. Just right now I have four hours a day where I can't be here because of exercising and homework (right now it's like three hours a night and it's probably going to get worst).
Oh, so basically chocolate isn't bad for you. It just produces a high amount of energy which turns into fat. Then, an apple would just be something that takes a low amount of energy which means close to no fat. Implying that you only eat an apple or chocolate.
Oh, well, I don't believe in dieting, which means I'm not cutting my rice out of my chicken and rice dinner. I believe more in changing the way I eat because dieting only leads to gaining more weight in the end. I want to lose it and keep it off. Which is why I'm asking all these questions so I know for future reference. Exactly what tirion told me in that "If you plan on being really active you can eat 4 pieces of bread but if you don't plan on being active eat 1 or 2 pieces of bread" just as an example. I usually only start the carbs and sugars around finals. >.< Because I cram a little. Bad thing about that is I'm really tired the next morning.
Yes, I am running no matter how much I don't like it. I have my iPod so that helps, the music and such. I'm doing situps and pushups.
It's basically like this:
Treadmill - 20 minutes 4.5, 10 minutes walking. 80 situps. 20-30 pushups. (They're hard for me because my arms are really weak). The neck and back exercises are helping my arms I think. Because I use my arms for quite some time holding myself up and they burn.
That's about it. It depends on the day. Sometimes I'll do more or less.
Eating on an average day: Egg/Cereal/Banana Sandwich Apple and or banana for snack Whatever dinner is.
I think my stomach is shrinking though because I eat so little and my stomach is full. I'm having a hard time, right now, with not eating it if I'm full or my stomach slightly hurts. For example, if I make a sandwich for dinner I eat the whole thing because I don't like wasting food. I thought about saving it but it's kind of gross and it's only a little bit left.
Um, well, I'd never really be hungry then but I know when I'm full or satisfied. By your definition it would kind of take a while for me to be hungry.
Haha, I have that problem. Which is probably not a funny thing. Already been down the "eating disorder" road. It's not really that fun. If I don't exercise I feel like a failure which is why I'm starting off kind of small but enough to have a reasonable and noticeable change. I don't push it at all even if I want to. I have a calendar and I write down what I consumed and what I did for exercise (just in general) then I mark it. It's working so far. Soon enough I'm not going to be able to do it everyday because I'll have night class. So, I'll switch to around 3 times a week or so. I'm not exactly obssessed with exercise because I'm lazy.

Just make sure your whatever dinner is a healthy one.

skygraygirl1587 The few things I would like to say: 1: Happy belated Birthday!! 2: I admire your want to help many people. 3: I hope you will be ok, i mean with your arms and all. and finally.. I think that perhaps you actually need advice more now then ever... I mean you seem to be so devoted to everyone.. That's a great thing. However, dont' forget about yourself. I know that may seem selfish, but you need to sort out your own life, usually your own life is harder, and people find that it's easier to help others to just not think about your own life and your own problems. That's how i see it though because usually that's how I am. I care about sooo many people myself, that I disregard my own life. I usually just want to forget about it. I mean like with my still recent break up and all.. it hurts and i want to forget.. and all the things that have hurt me in the past, I try to make others feel better just because i know what it feels like and I don't like to see others get hurt, but think of it this way.. if you keep helping others... what is left of yourself.. to help yourself when you are in time of need? 1) Thanks, it wasn't that great of a birthday and I probably won't have a party, again. It's cool though, I don't mind.
2) Some people do some people don't.
3) I don't know. I definitely will after high school because I won't have to lug a bunch of books around.
I suppose people can help me. There's really not much to deal with in my life right now. I kind of took care of that stage two years ago and it ended around a year ago. I'm fine in my life right now. I just have homework and I need to lose some weight. Asking a few questions about that and just clarifying things. I don't even really need the information all that much I just want it for future reference. I know what you mean though. And that's why I think I'm good at helping people right now because I just went through what all those people are going through, for the most part, and it's easy to tell them about it and what they should do.

So, I think I'm doing alright. Going from eating better to exercising the most I have in my entire life I think. I just want the results and to know if it's working. It seems like it, then it doesn't. I'll just keep waiting I suppose.
I want to be 180 or around there again. Being under 200 right now would make me happy.
No, I think I'm pretty much ok. Except for knowing easy to make foods that are healthy and tasty would be nice. Thanks for the help.

I don't exactly know if I'm doing enough or anything though, so... I might have to do more. I'll probably increase the workout in a week or something. I don't know. Mostly the running portion. It's kind of getting hard now to do the 20 minutes. Other parts of my body get weak when I do it. So, maybe I should wait to increase it.
