Did any one knotice that the way they had written Left turn seemed sortive simmular to Blink From series 3. My friend and I both watched the episode and thought it seems simmular some how. Dose any one agree with this thought. and Can any one build on it with out pointing out that there was no Doctor in this episode really. - Thowell3

Every year, they do a Doctor light episode during filming on another one. This year, while Catherine was filming Turn Left, David was working on Midnight.
It's so they can fit 14 episodes (the series and the Christmas special) in to the same length of time that it took to film Series One (13 episodes).
That's why there's not much Doctor and Rose in Love And Monsters (David and Billie were doing The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit), or much Doctor and Martha in Blink (David and Freema were filming Human Nature/The Family Of Blood).
