I feel for your dog. I, too, was also circling in a corner trying to get away from the sound. mad

I love lightening and faraway thunder, but when it's right next to you (and you are sleeping next to large, glass windows), it's kind of scary. My sister is absolutely phobic of storms.

It was the first thunderstorm I've seen in the year and a half I've been here. Of course I was in the field at the time... God loves the Army

That was a fun storm. I live near the Hood canal so the system made its way up right to me. On the 4th I was so used to thunder that I kept thinking the fireworks were thunder, though!

Thunder/lightening storms rock. One of the most romantic settings ever. I'd cure *any* girl of a thunder storm phobia if you catch my drift.
