That's right, Dario Franchitti is out of a cup ride and 71 people lost their jobs on Tuesday July 1st at about 2 pm. Gannasi Racing is now down to a 2 car team. The dropping of the car was due to no sponsorship and with how that organization is, they don't have back-up money to keep an unsponsored car on the track every week.

I don't think so, the 41 & 42 have full sponsorship. Whereas the 40 had a new sponsor every other week. I think Gannasi needs to concentrate on the two cars now and pick up before years end and then maybe start the 40 car again next year.

Yeah-that would be best for the organization as a whole but still-poor Dario
I think it was a right move, though a painful one... no sponsorship means no racing. We can only hope that they can find a sponsor and run next year.

Dario has been offered the chance to run the Nationwide series a lot more than scheduled I have heard. But if he gets offered a chance in Sprint I dont think he will take that deal.

Well, if DAYTONA NNS qualifying means anything, they need to keep Clauson in the 40 car.
