Jestenna, as per her usual morning routine, found herself dressed in black silk pajama pants, a white t-shirt with an emblem on the back, of some fighting tournament she'd been a part of. Bare footed at the moment (she'd put shoes on when the library opened), the brunette was quite happy to be back to her old antics; reading and translating with parchments and quills early in the morning with a cup of coffee balanced on a leather chair's arm. As far as she was concerned, this was the life.

At least, until she realized that the library would have to open. Sighing, she looked at her PAD, which held the current time: 6:48 AM. Damn. She'd have to start cleaning up soon...

Looking mildly annoyed by this fact, Jestenna closed the giant book that she had balanced in her lap, leaning back into the chair to get comfortable for an hour or so before she needed to do a speed clean of her area.

"Well damn...knew I shouldn't have stayed awake all night..."

Adam downed his traditional cup of coffee in the morning, he didn’t really fancy coffee, it was just a nudge to bitter for him, it’s the caffeine in the coffee that he was after. With a sigh and a rub between the eyes he made his way back to his own dorm. As he was now, standing there in trainers and no top, he didn’t really feel up to his morning round trough the library, the only time he could feel completely alone and at ease. He opened the door to his dorm and could see Behemoth at the end of his bed. Behemoth was a wolf, a large grey wolf that was summoned. He had been playing around with the Book of Binding and found a way to bind a summon to a person. He found that to be very helpful and decided that Behemoth would be that summon, partially because the animal was one of the very few that actually had intelligence to the level of a human. Of course he still talked telepathically, like he did with any summon.

Soon he was dressed and ready, Behemoth walked by his side as they made their way to the library. He gave Behemoth a rub behind his head, not so difficult seeing how the beast’s head reached to his hips. Adam opened the door towards the library, Behemoth entered first. He sniffed at the air while lifting his head. Only one person in the room, female and a regular, that was Behemoth’s report so both of them leisurely walked in. Adam wondered who would be up at a time like this, snooping around a library. What bugged him more was that his normally quite and relaxing morning would be disturbed. He sighed as he started walking down the shelves. By now he could locate the magical section without thinking about it and find a book in just a few seconds.

Behemoth on the other hand made it’s way towards the origin of the scent, his bushy tail brushed against a books on the bottom shelves, nothing special. He raised his head slightly as he saw Jestenna and let out a slight howl to announce himself. After that he waited to see her reaction, if she was friendly he would push in his wet nose to get some petting.

Still being a bit oblivious at this point, Jestenna only noticed that there was something with her when the beast howled at her to get her attention. Blue eyes went wide and her coffee spilled down to the library's floor (her hand had swiped it off in surprise). Her skin paled, and she looked alarmed as she felt out with her own brand of telepathy, gulping.

'Phinny...?' she questioned in a croaked voice, taking the book off of her lap and sliding down to the ground to stare at the wolf before her. But then, it took a few minutes for her to realize that...no, he was dead, and it couldn't be him. So, instead, she shook her head, reassuring herself that this was just some other wolf. And smaller, as well!

Giving a sort of relieved smile, the brunette shook her head and ran her hand over her face, apologizing to the wolf, "Sorry...you remind me of someone..."

Another pause, and she put her hand out to scratch behind his ears. "You're a pretty one, aren't you."

Behemoth tilted his head to the left, what was the matter with this human? He had never seen them act like this, she actually seemed rather sad. He howl slightly and pushed his nose against head. He then gave her a small, playful lick to comfort her a little. He then continued to push his side against her.

In a different part of the library Adam was looking in some books about magic. The one he was currently holding had information regarding poisoning magic, which Adam didn’t like one bit. He had never been one to apply such tactics, no, he liked to face his opponent and let them know what it was that killed them.

Looking at the wolf before her, Jestenna's eyes crossed when he pushed his nose agaisnt her head, sending her back on her butt. Shaking her head, she tucked a lock of hair behind her ear and smirked. Someone was probably looking for this mutt if he was in the library at this hour of the morning.

"But before I help you find who you're supposed to be with, I need to get some paper towels to clean up my mess, thanks to you," she said with a sigh, putting her hands on her hips. It was a fast motion, but clear enough to discern when her eyes moved from side to side, she taking off at a brisk pace towards the librarian's desk, grabbing a box of tissues to return to the site. She shook her head before she got down on her knees to clean it, looking mildly annoyed until the task was done.

"Okay, we've got any easy way to do this, and a hard way to do this. You seem like a smart boy, so care to direct me to where your human is?"

Adam was about bored so he decided to look for Behemoth, the wolf usually had the bad habit off wandering off and hindering people. So he wasn’t that surpised when he turned a corner and saw Behemoth sitting in front of a girl. From the entire scene he could already deduct how the beast had stalked the girl. Adam sighed and rubbed the back of his head while smiling. He was only wearing his casual black jeans so the girl could see his torso, it only had a few scars, one in particular was that of a bear claw across his chest. He sighed, again, eyed Behemoth and with a stern command the wolf turned it’s head and ran towards Adam. The speed was amazing to say the least, in just a moment the wolf was close to Adam and took a jump. Adam stretched his right arm and suddenly, in a flash, the wolf transformed and turned in to a coat that quickly fit around Adam.

“Well, sorry for my pet, he has a habit of making trouble for me and other people.” Meanwhile Adam kept an eye on the books behind the girl, they seemed old and mostly very interesting. The books from the main section in the library did just so much, he had actually only found one or two spells that would be fun.

Jestenna threw her head up when she heard a stern command given, her body flexing into an offensive stance...at least, until she realized that the wolf had become a coat and he was offering her apologies for the animal's behavior. The lithe body of the female relaxed slightly, her hands crossing underneath her chest as her legs came back together so she was in a consolidated standing position feeling mildly threatened with the way he was staring at her corner of work.

"Well, it's fine," she muttered, almost embarrassed by the fact she'd been caught. "He wasn't a problem." But, since she wasn't exactly the type of person to stand for people ogling her books, ogle her, she was used to it, but not her books! Those were hers! A deep frown became set in her features, a slight twitch of the corner of her mouth giving off her annoyance.

"If you want something, you could ask rather than stare."

Adam smiled, the books still remained books so he just tore his eyes off of them and focused on the girl ahead of him. He smirks, “sorry, they just look old, they might contain ancient magic that I might harvest.”
He walks towards Jestenna and come rather close, he smiles at her, trying to exploit his own attractive features. “However, you look young and in all honesty, all the more attractive.” He kept smiling and went trough his hair with his left hand. It had always been a lady stopper, he wondered if she would bite.

"Even if they did, you'd still need to ask me. Those are my books, thank you very much." Clearly, she wasn't the most friendly one of the bunch. Still this guy was starting to bug her, with the way he was being so...insistent on her books. She didn't like it. And, the closer he got, the more she realized that he was getting CLOSER.

Her cheeks for the first time in a long while, lit up a bright red, her senses becoming filled with the presence of this man. Even if she was pretty, most men just tended to stare and shamelessly flirt with her at clubs, not in the privacy of her library corner! Ooooh, she was bugged alright, and, taking a deep, shaky breath, she realized that this was starting to get out of hand. But she needed her confidence back.

"Looks are deceiving, because I'm not as young as you think I am."

Of course, she refused to touch upon the attractive statement, and the way that he had been half naked when he'd first walked in. Nope, not in the least bit would she pay attention to it!

Adam smiled down at her and raised both hands, palms outward in a universal sign of surrender. “Alright, don’t worry, I won’t touch them if you don’t want me to.” He then casually placed both hands in his pockets again and leaned forward. He leaned forward so much that his lips were just inches away from her left ear. “So, fair maiden, do you mind showing me some of your books? It would be no fun if I had to page trough them without your beautiful presence.” As he whispered those words in her ear, he made sure to let the slightest of wind travel against her ear. Meanwhile he had pulled his left hand out of his pocket and let it rest on her right hip. When he righted himself again he gently pulled her closer, only if she cooperated with the initial pulling.
