Barring certain obscure short television series and films, it's the only Lynch I have left to see, so the delay has me not best pleased.

Athal I own the hybrid DVD, so I've got it in both dubbed and subtitled format I think I have watched clips of the movie on a music video. (if it is the one with Knuckles having that Crocodile Dundee hat) Its the hat Knuckles got from Hawking in the old Knuckles comics....I havent checked the dates out or anything but where'd he get the hat first o_o? Was the comics the explination for how he got it or was the movie playing off the USA Archie comics o_O? Anyways.....Yeah.
I have the movie on VHS but I'm trying to find it on DVD....I found it at bestbuy.com or somewhere....Well anyways and I have an old recorded tape somewhere where when I was about 10 they started rerunning AoStH on Toon Disney and so....I recorded all the episodes 8D....Although now I dont find them quite as amusing as I did back then but XD;....I still love Sonic and thats all that counts, no?
Annnnd...Thats all I have to say ^^;...

The movie came before Knux got the hat in Archie. They gave it him as a little nod to another continuity - like naming Sonic and Sally's rugrats in M25YL Sonia and Manic.

I'm not trying to attack the arc's fans or even their taste - it just doesn't do anything for me as a story. Reasons on request. Now that I know for sure that we have at least one M25YL fan here, I'll be more careful about that in future.

Rereading these posts (and going off topic somewhat), I thought folks might like to know why the UK DVD release of Muppet Xmas Carol seemed to be cut. Apparently we have the "theatrical cut", which in theory never included one of the best songs on the soundtrack.
People who saw this originally at the cinema can tell me if I'm wrong, but apparently we go from "You did, once" straight to Belle leaving Scrooge in the park and Rizzo crying about it.
What is daft of the Walt Disney Company is that when they first released the video in the UK, it reinstated that cut scene, so we had the whole 'When Love Is Gone' song, including a duet with Michael Caine. Daft of me to presume the DVD would go the same way :/ In the end, I bought my DVD R1 and gave away my R2 copy. As far as I can tell, all the other stuff on it is exactly the same.
EDIT: Just found out R2 is getting a "Special Edition" in November. No idea yet whether that'll be cut to pieces, or finally restore one of the best scenes in the movie...
Responding to other, more Sonic-related comments: a website in the UK just informed me that the R1 DVD is out of print now, though I think Amazon and Deep Discount DVD still have it. My problem in that respect is that they don't give me free shipping smile

Quite a recent post, too... Of course, I could always chase down the videos.

And I'm a fan of the echidnas and I know most people arent ^^;....But I miss the Knuckles comic lol....
And you dident offend me ^^;...I wont say it takes alot to get on my bad side, because if you really are trying to make me angry or offended, you will succeed, however just making a comment on your feeling on the subject doesent bother me and it'd make me a pretty horrible person to be that way IMO XD;....
I am curious though as to your personal reasons upon why you dont like it...I've heard quite a few different variations on the matter but I cant say that any of the others I've heard make very much sense. The worst possible one to me being "Well I just dont like it thats all >_>." XD;....

I have nothing against the echidnas as a concept - I just don't think that Penders' monomania is the right way to handle them. If he's that obsessed with telling his own oh-so-flawless stories, he should get his own book. Gee... wait... he did and it flopped... Sorry. My reasoning's a bit more coherent than that, but it's approaching 11pm, I've very nearly a 12 hour working day tomorrow, and I need to wash my hair before bedtime.
