We go to band camp but we call it Spat camp. I love it! We work and tell stories and have so much fun in the end we all come together and truly become what our song means we become one beat. heart

Strange, my band camp is considered "Hell Week" and the percussion gets an extra 3 days of it! (yay for us....)

ElementVox Strange, my band camp is considered "Hell Week" and the percussion gets an extra 3 days of it! (yay for us....) we call ours hell week too. 8 hours every day, and biggest break is a 50 minute dinner, but we always go back way before it's over...

I just started band camp monday and I love it!
Although I hate carrying the marimba down three flights of stairs >>;

ours isnt over night
we just go to school and learn drill on a hot parking lot from 9 to 9.
its so much fun rofl
I wish this wasnt my last year because i would love to do it again.

ive been doing marching band for about 4 years now. band camp has always been the best. My school has pre-camp, band camp, then post-camp
Pre-camp is from 7-12 am
band camp is at the end of july from 5am-10pm (only lucnch and dinner breaks)
and post camp is from 7-12 am
sadly enough, im graduating this year, and im already missing marching band...too much. I have always found spare time to hang out with freinds during camp, and practicing only makes our band better. then again, its hard to direct a 300 member band in our weekly after school two hr. practices three times a day.
Last year our band got to march in the ever famous Rose Parade. It was amazing, i will never forget the memories i made.
