Normally, I don't really like telling people about myself, and as a result, I'm not very good at it, but here goes!
My favorite things to do are read, write, draw, compose, play music, listen to music, and surf the internet. I read any type of fiction, though I don't particularly care for science fiction. (looking back at this a year later...that's a lie, I love sci-fi) I have a ton of favorite books, and if you wish to know them ask, just don't expect to get nearly all of my favorite, for I can't remember them all. redface I also love anything to do with music (as you can probably tell) but I cannot stand rap, bluegrass, and some country songs.
I also love manga!!! blaugh I've been reading manga for about...5 years, and nothing would make me give it up. My best friend right now is fanfiction.net, which is what I'm on even more than gaia.
I'm not really a sporty person, I prefer my books, but my favorite sport to play and watch is tennis. I also don't really like sunlight, I much prefer night, a true night-owl I am. My favorite type of weather is rain and thunderstorms that are right over my head. Oh, and my favorite places in the world are the beach, bookstores, and libraries.
When I was in kindergarten, my mother started to read the first Harry Potter, but she got sick and couldn't finish it. She took too long to get better, so I read the book myself. I finished the first four by second grade, and impatiently waited for the last three. Let me get one thing straight - I hate the last book. In that book, just about every one of my favorite characters died, so only 2 out of 7 of my favorite characters were left alive. I also thought the ending sucked royally. Personally I couldn't have cared less if Harry had died (don't hurt me!). I'm always like that. Most of the time I hate the main character, and love the character that dies, the minor character...(wait, no, that happens in every book I read) It's true. In just about every book I read, I favor the minor character that later dies... emo
Well! That's all I can think of for right now (huh, actually, that's a lot) and if you think I'm weird 3nodding people tell me so every day especially when I start talking to myself neutral ...ah well, such is life. As I respond better when asked questions, don't hesitate to ask me (almost) anything!

Don't feel bad - I don't like Harry either. JKR's minor characters are way more developed than the trio, in my opinion. I mean, look at Hagrid... whoa, dang! He's got more personality layers than a real person. And Lupin - how self-destructive can one person get and STAY a total sweetheart. And Sirius - he's conflicted, loyal, wise-but-hypocritical, and his background is immensely complicated... Anyway... end mini-rant.
Fellow Night-Owl! Yay! I'm an insomniac, so I can sympathize with the whole night thing. Plus, it's funny, my pupils don't adjust to light as fast as regular people's. So, I have a light sensitivity unless I've been outside all day.

Nice mini-rant, Ignoramus, but I agree with every single word. My eyes adjust to light fine, but they're rather sensitive to bright light. Unfortunately, I can't wear sunglasses because then I'll be blind as a bat, and I don't have enough money to get transitional glasses. emo
Glad you agree, Angel! The last book is the only one I've read only once. I decided I would never read it again since I thought it was horrible, and I have kept that promise to myself for almost an entire year. I'm not sure how much longer I will be able to wait to read it again, though, as I can't remember a lot of the small details...
