Danni smiled, and bumped her head against his shoulder in a playful manner.
" Which do you think?" She grinned and snuggled against him, once more slipping into a more friend-like mode and purposefully disconcerting him. It should be obvious by now, though. Heck, she admitted what she thought of him, that should have made it dead obvious!
" And just so you know, I don't usually lay it on so thick. I'll just entwine my arm with the guys, maybe snuggle a bit, and then they decide to attack me. That's the difference." She said, as if reading his thoughts.

"You... are really confusing." And both his brains were reeling. His more intuitive brain, though, was thinking of something to make her stop dead in her tracks. Again, it went against the whole 'take your time, don't rush her, respect her boundaries' thing his dad had ground into his ethics, but this idea was innocent enough.
"Why lay it on so thick, when you could just..." Alex faced her mostly. He took his right hand to her cheek, cupped it, and didn't tug her towards him. No, he went towards her with deliberate slowness to place an equally slow, soft kiss on her forehead.
"Do something simple."

Danni smiled softly and returned the favor, but to his cheek.
" Simple is nice. I'll adjust my plan then, I think." She threw him a cheeky wink before settling, and the air seemed to thin, as if she had suddenly turned off a switch that had made the whole situation pleasantly awkward.
" So, anything else you'd like to see around here? If you get cold we can just pop in my place to watch a perfectly innocuous movie or something else friends would do." She seemed to take on an 'Ella' aspect now, switching from sultry and mind boggling to bright faced and innocent.

So... there was something here. And he would now have to be on his best behavior. After all, what was more important? The promise he had made himself at starting over anew, at being a better person that would make his dad proud, or getting laid?
There was a little battle in his head, but the good, ethical question won out.
"Alright. But I can't stay for too long, since I'm not really a student here yet. Gotta get to the administration building when they're freed up, yeah?"
Reluctantly, he let go of her so they could stand and begin that adventure. "This has been the weirdest day since mom tried to carry out the couch."

She beamed and stood, wrapping her arm around his in a friendly gesture once more.
" Alright. I can escort you there now, if you like." Now, she just seemed to be an innocent, bright bubbly of smiles, though it wasn't done as well as Ella, for whom it was natural.

"To where, your dorm or the administration building?" Oh, how he had to keep the purr out of his voice for the first place. He'd strung along too many girls like that, but it was time to shape up.
"Either or, doesn't matter to me. Heh..." Blue eyes looked to Danni. "I've been saying that too much lately."

She grinned, finding it hard not to make a sensually-colored comment.
" I think we should wait. The headmaster is probably busy right now. I heard another new student is here and he's currently dealing with some sort of minor crisis of some sort. So, looks like we'll be watching a movie then." She nodded once, and after grabbing his uniform bags, started up the path and back to the campus.
" And make sure to keep your hands to yourself."
