He feined the look of insult, " you where the one who gave me the idea, it would be rude to do it when you couldn't see." He then winked at her and rolled into a side glide, " into this tunnle, short cut," he zipped ahead of her.

"Good."
A smile crossed the lips of the young ryoe as she was assured a viewing of the spectacle. Hearing news of the shortcut she nodded and followed behind him.
"So how long have you worked in the labs?" she asked, for she hadn't really had much chance to converse with the drake unless it were about the work at hand.

He furrowed his brows into thought. " Hmm, its been a long time. I forget the exact amount of time. I joined the group when i was still young enough to be naive...so that should tell you something about the length."

"So a few weeks ago then?" she asked, teasing the drake. Obviously it really had been a long time. Keeping low as she followed him she wondered at another thing. "Why do you say you were naive? Was it to do with the job?"

He laughed, " not so much so, not realy the job, but my co-workers. They made my life misurable the first few months before i caught on. I now know that the room on the bottom level is not a meeting room, and that it can be locked very easily from the outside, while being near impossable to unlock from the inside. I know not to eat from the big kitchen, i know not to look my higher ups in the eye, or to speek my thoughts...they dont like that."

"My, they were quite cruel to you," Arc replied sounding a little surprised at the tales of harsh treatment. She couldn't understand why, the drake was nice enough. But then, the ways of her coworkers were strange at times and not everyone was kind to the new. "The worst I got was being sent out on every goose chase errand they could think of, best part was I loved getting out of the labs."

" Lucky then," he smirked back at her, " what i would have given for simple errands. Nothing to be done about it now. Come, " he turned his wings into another turn, and a second later dove out of sight. " Slow down!" he called back to her, " steep drop and tight tunnel, be carefull, i'll see you on the other side." His voice was then gone.

Arc had been following fairly close behind the drake when she saw him vanish and seconds later she dipped into the smaller tunnel without much thought. Her stomach giving a lurch she swallowed hard and steadied herself, slowing her speed as she navigated the tunnel, her gold eyes adjusting to the lacked lighting just enough. After a few moments she spotted a faint light where the tunnel ended.

Ryet'n stood on the outside of that opening, waiting for her to come out to assure she had gotten threw okay. As he heard her approach he repositioned his wings for the takeoff when she would amerge.
