Hello! I just graduated from the Univeristy of Nothern Iowa with my BA in Biology with a biomedical emphasis. I will be returning this fall to start on my MS. I will be researching the genes that control the betalain pathway in pitaya (dragon fruit). I have't decided if I am going to go for my PhD yet or not. I live in Iowa so research jobs in the area of plant biotechnology are plentiful and pay really well. I am also the proud mother of the smartest, handsomest two year old in the world (debatable I know, but my post, my rules). I think that's about it.
