Another warm day in summer. Warm, but not too bad, as far as summer days went. The heat was staved by the shadows of the buildings and trees, more the latter than the former as Robyn got closer to the park. The laurel wreath was on her her strawberry blonde hair, as usual, but the humidity was light enough that it didn't stick uncomfortably to her head, which she was grateful for. The girl had started wearing the wreath... or at least carrying it around with her... wherever she went, not wanting to leave the soon-to-be nymph by herself. The girl wasn't sure how the transformation would work, but she was sure she wouldn't want to have it happen when she wasn't there.
Plopping down on a bench, Robyn fanned herself gently with the front of her t-shirt, letting it go after a moment, resting quietly on the bench. Not exactly sure what had prompted it, she had decided to take a walk this fine afternoon, and while she was a little warm, a light breeze made things more comfortable as she sat, enjoying the scenery.

There were some days that she would admit it had been a bad idea to dress proper for her own job, but she was too far from home to get back now and change into something more comfortable to suit the hot day. Sighing, the red haired girl looked down at the heavy kimono and decided it would be best to just find a shady place to rest in the park for a while. Raising her umbrella again to help block some of the sunlight, Mameha couldn't help but smile at the small silver bell tied to her wrist. She hadn't taken it off since that evening at the shop in Durem.
The jingle of the bell made her smile. It sounded as if whatever secret it was holding was happy to be with her. Another chime sounded as the breeze picked up again the closer she got to the park. Spotting a bench nearby, Mameha sighed with relief and went to take a seat, hoping the other occupant wouldn't mind.
"Is this spot taken?" She asked, looking at the other girl.

"Of course not," Robyn replied with a grin, scooting over a bit to allow room for the other woman. She was pretty, no doubt, dressed in a formal kimono and a beautiful matching umbrella, the woman's red hair accenting the colors quite well. While it must have been quite hot in such an outfit, the girl was quite impressed by the other's garb, suddenly feeling quite boring in her jeans and t-shirt. It was silly, of course, but that didn't stop the flush from rising in her cheeks as she moved over a bit.
She couldn't exactly just go out and say the woman was pretty, however. That was slightly strange for a stranger to say. There were enough people who thought the ginger-haired girl was weird enough, and she didn't need anyone else to bear witness to that.
The tinkling of the bell caused her sea-green eyes to shift to the woman's wrist, the silver bell catching the light and reflecting it beautifully. That was something she could comment on without seeming too strange. A smile raising to her lips, Robyn gestured towards it, genuinely interested. "Your bell must have been very well made -- the sound is beautiful."

Mameha smiled brightly in thanks and sat down on the other end of the bench, closing her umbrella and enjoying the shade and breeze. She could only imagine the girl beside her was silently laughing at her for wearing such an outfit on a hot day. Though, most people probably did.
She blinked and looked down at the bell then to Robyn and chuckled. "It makes me think it's happy." She began to think that sounded very strange, especially coming from her at the moment. Treating the bell as if it were a living breathing thing on her wrist. Sure it was holding some sort of life, but it wasn't outright speaking!
Mentally kicking herself again, Mameha quickly shook her head and looked back at Robyn. "I really hope that didn't sound too weird!"

"Of course not!" Robyn replied for the second time in the last few minutes, her smile genuine and bright. Reaching up to touch the laurels on her head, she chuckled, thinking about them for a second, "It's nice to think that things can be happy too."
Tilting her head, the girl turned a bit towards the other, extending her hand. "My name's Robyn," she said, introducing herself to the exquisitely dressed woman.

Mameha chuckled softly and looked between the laurel and her own bell. "I guess we could keep stranger things as precious posessions." She said, watching as the sunlight glinted off the bell. It chimed again as she moved her arm, still sounding as happy as an object could. "My name is, Mameha." She said, taking the other girl's hand, "It's very nice to meet you! I hope you don't think I'm absolutely insane for wearing something like this today, it was sorta for work..." She muttered, looking down at the kimono.

"I'm sure we could, but I'm not sure I want to think about what kind of strange things," Robyn laughed as she shook the other's hand, a multitude of bizarre items popping into her head. Grinning a little comically, she blinked when the girl mentioned her outfit, drawing her eyes back down to it.
"No no, it's lovely! I noticed it before and wanted to tell you how gorgeous it is, but I decided that would be a bit creepy!"
Again she laughed, relieved that it wasn't awkward between them. Mameha seemed to be a very kind person, something that was sometimes a little hard to find in this busy world.

Mameha laughed with her, but couldn't help but be drawn back to the girl's laurel wreath. It wasn't often (especially now) people would wear something like that. Though, she shouldn't really be talking at the moment.
"If I may ask, where did you get your wreath from? It looks very green and the leaves alive and fresh..." She said, blinking at it, "That's really unusual, unless you were making them yourself everyday..."

Instinctively Robyn reached up to touch the laurels on her head, her eyes sliding up as if she could see it.
"No, it's the same one every day. I don't know why the leaves stay fresh... but I got it at a shop in Durem. It's owned by this really kind woman who sort of just gave it to me. Rose was her name."
She laughed softly, looking a bit sheepish. "I know, it's pretty silly to wear it around, but it's... I can't exactly leave it behind at my dorm."
