I loved that scene as well and almost died on it too.
Well, I just finished the book and I loved it. May not have been in RJ's style of writing (some parts anyway), and he may have been a lot more transparent then RJ, but (and I know that this comment may upset some people) I'm not too sure if RJ himself could have written it (entire book) any better himself. I think that Sanderson did an extent job and can't wait for The Towers of Midnight.

I finished last night and I was very happy with it. There were two points where I almost stopped reading because I was afraid of what might have happened xD

[spoiler book 12]When Elida was captured by the Seanchan to be damani, the first reaction I had was to cheer, but my second was "Oh s**t, now they'll have travelling!"
