Cats are an independant species. Most cats I've come into contact with were antisocial, to a degree. I have a friend who's cat adores me...more because of the catnip in my pocket than anything. Dogs are more high-maintanence. But I'm a dog person. There's something about big puppy feet and a big head that is HILARIOUS and melts your heart... It doesn't hurt that (1) I'm allergic to cats and (2) my dog is incredibly clumbsy.

I love kitties! As soon as I was old enough I bought one for myself to look after. He's the cutest little thing ever. Although he's getting older now so not so playful, and way more agressive. The only thing I don't like about him is the random attacks I get when I'm walking down the hallway. He jumps out and grabs hold of my leg and wont let go.
But apart from that he's awesome. He curls up on the bed and sleeps with me at night, keeps my feet warm in winter when he curls up under the blankets. SOOOOO cute biggrin
