Name:
Saijo Atsuki (Japanese name. Actual name: Atsuki Saijo)

Aliases/ Nicknames:
Generally people call him Atsuki or when he is being called by an enemy or rival they usually call him Saijo.

Physical Description:
He is "5'7 with unusally but noticeably pale skin almost ghost-like. He has almost jet-black hair that contrasts with it. He is overall skinny with black eyes and pupils but no bags or dark circles under his eyes. He is overall healthy physically and doesn't get sick too often. He wears the typical outfit for the Soul Society requirements.


Zanpaktou:
Atsuki has just joined the Soul Society so all he has is a sword that only has the power to kill Hollows.

Shikai: (Not Yet Achieved)
Atsuki's Shikai is released by calling "Reduce to nothing, Karategata ("Empty Promise" in Japanese). His blade becomes a few inches longer and thins to a sharp point and turns black with some shades of gray and white wth a bigger hilt.

His Shikai release allows him to summon small white portals with a black outline to summon white, gray, and black thorns to attack the opponent. The drawback to the thorns is that they can either go straight forward or curve but they can't home in on his opponents. He makes up for it by using thorns by bringing out multiple portals at once but he usually uses about three to five even though it doesn't use much reiatsu so he doesn't get carried away as he can only use that much. He can also turn his own blade into manifested thorns and use them like a whip to attack or grab on to his foes. As a special measure he can wrap multiple thorns using his portals and channeling the thorns around the Zanpaktou and then stabbing his Zanpaktou forward shooting the thorns out in a circular form attacking anything it hits as well as shooting any thorns wrapped around the blade shoots forward while the others floating around his Zanpaktou are fired in a circular motion. But while he can do this it costs more reiatsu than using double of his maximum thorns in his Shikai release. As his last resort in Shikai is when he infuses the maximum amount of thorns he can in his Zanpaktou. A sign of this is when his blade has white and black thorns tightly wrapped around his blade different from his other circular attack because some thorns on his other attack will float and shoot cirular. He then makes one of three different attacks. The first being him swiping his Zanpaktou in a sideways arc releasing the thorns outward in every direction in front of him. His second being he slashes his Zanpaktou upward shooting his thorns out forward in arcs as it moves forward towards it's opponent with movements similar to a garden hose. His last attack being that he stabs his Zanpaktou forward shooting his thorns in a concentrated line of a mass of thorns in a beam-like structure which is different from his other attack because it is more concentrated and compressed than the thorns he shoots with his circular thorns because they are diffused around him towards his opponent so while there are alot in his other attack they are weaker than this attack. All of which use a large amount of reiatsu. As a defensive move he stabs his sword into the ground and a white portal so to speak forms under him and keeps circling thorns around him which he can extend outward but it uses more reiatsu. The downside to that is that while he uses it he can't move he has to stay in one place to maintain it but when he is he can control the thorns movement to a degree when he is in this position but he can't shoot it out he can only control it's direction around him unless he extends it all outwardly.

Bankai: (Not Yet Achieved)
Atsuki's Bankai is released by calling out "Bankai" just like any others and it's name is "Goubatsu Karategata" ('Punished Empty Promise' in Japanese). The only way the sword changes is that it becomes white with shades of grey but he doesn't use it in his Bankai. He can at the cost of using much more reiatsu.

His body and powers is where it mainly changes. His arms, hands, and fingers become skinnier and they become pure white with his fingers getting slightly longer, skinnier, and sharp. His waist has a pure white cuffling that goes upward circularly but also outwardly about half a foot as his legs also become pure white but his feet are unnoticeable because he wears socks with his sandals with his uniform. Despite that his uniform is ripped up a bit revealing some of these parts of him. His face and his chest are the only parts of him that stay the same but the skin on that area becomes even paler almost chalk white with a small tint of gray. He gains the ability to use even more portals to bring out even more portals of thorns to attack. The portals are about six to eight portals except he can actually home them in on his opponents to an extent but they can still miss. When he uses his sword he uses more reiatsu in battle but he can hit harder and faster as well as becoming faster and stronger when he releases Bankai. The weakness of his Bankai is that it is a time limit. He can maintain it for roughly an hour. But it goes away faster when he uses his Zanpaktou in his bankai or when he uses more than eight portals of thorns at once.

Vizard abilities: (Not Yet Achieved)
Atsuki can bring his mask to his face by simply willing it as he puts his hand on his head and pulls his hand down his face but he pulls down his mask on his face.

When his mask is on his strength and speed increases as well as his durability. His reiatsu almost triples like any other Vizard with their mask on. His mask only stays on for up to five minutes while in Shikai release. In bankai release when he uses his mask he can hold it for ten minutes as well as summon eight to ten portals of thorns without a strain and is able to use his sword more easily but if he uses his sword he can only hold his mask for seven minutes. Since he has the spiritual pressure of a hollow as well as his own it basically doubles in combat when he uses his mask making some attacks in his Shikai release easily done. Aside from extra strength, speed, and durability, he can fire a Cero with two fingers but it is considerably weaker and smaller than when he uses it with his hand open and palm facing his opponent. The only odd thing about his Cero is that it is white.

Hollow: (Not Yet Achieved)
He only turns into a Hollow if he has his mask on and he is experiencing deep emotions of hate, anger, or the need to protect someone. He gets a Hollow hole in the middle of his chest and his fingers grow longer and sharper but thick with black tips. His body becomes a skeleton of a Hollow that is still his physique look. He becomes even more powerful, he can take more hits, and he is faster. He can fire a Cero from his mouth when he opens that can cause major damage.

Special Accessories:
He doesn't wear any accessories.

Skills:
He is slightly faster than the average person but he can't use Flash-Step although he is interested in it. Physically he is on the lower tier. His only physical strength is when he uses his Zanpaktou. Other than that physical-wise he is average.

Abilities:
Although he has a wide knowledge about Kido he has never been able to use them properly so he only uses his Zanpaktou and Vizard abilities to attack.

Personality:
He is overall nice unless provoked. He likes to be a smart-alack when someone argues with him other than the Captains. He shows respect when needed and doesn't defy orders but may sometimes complain about them if he doesn't agree. His attitude sometimes causes him to make enemies but at the same time he doesn't mind. He enjoys having friends and company.

Biography/History:
Age: 17 (Looks 15)
Atsuki was seven when he died. he had died of a car accident containing his mother. He had a pretty much normal life. He had a sister who is still alive, and a father still alive. They were in a lower middle-class in terms of income but they managed just fine. His mother dead now works in the Rukongai District as a merchant. Atsuki sees her almost every day when work is done to visit. He met his Zanpaktou spirit during a sparring match with a member of his squad. His spirit named Karategata was a girl who was dressed in a white Shihakusho with pale skin and blonde hair with clear green eyes.

They quickly became good allies. Her abilities are the same as Atsuki's except for a few. Even in Shikai she can control her thorns when shot out perfectly and and she can make up to eight portals at a time in Shikai. The other difference is that her Shikai release Zanpaktou is white unlike Atsuki's Shikai release which is black. After a long time he had trained with his Captain and Karategata and achieved Bankai. But soon he started to feel strong urges to hurt people.....and attack. He had no choice but to flee the Soul Society knowing full well he would be known as a traitor. He had found the group known as the Vizards. He had realized when he joined that he had crossed over into the Hollow world. He didn't know he did until he figured out when he did. On a mission when he fought an Arrancar he had undergone Hollowfication and he had still lost the fight due to very little control over his powers. When he fought his inner Hollow it took him almost an hour and a half to defeat the Hollow. The first time he utilized his mask he could only hold it for one minute and eleven seconds. The Vizards had trained him with his mask as best as he could until he could use what he can use now. He has been living with the Vizards ever since doing any job he had to do but feeling regret that he had never said goodbye to his mother when he had fled the Sereitei.

I wish to join the 12th squad. It's definitely my fav squad because Mayuri and Urahara were both Captains of it. Oh Mayuri, you and your "I already know all your moves so I made my abilities just to beat you". You would never be accepted in roleplay, but you still hold a special place in people's hearts, many of which are in jars in your office. But I digress. I want to follow in the footsteps of the two greatest captains ever, the goofy b*****d and the psychopath. I am willing to help invent sexy spirit tech and any other things my Taichou (hopefully you) asks of me. Just please don't put bombs in my organs. I need my organs.
