New Poppy Fields
Lives ruled and wrecked by weekend aspirations, Corrupt ambitions and character partitions, Dare to dream what sychofants long, To lose yourself amongst the throng, A flag of old is torn and marred, And they will thank their lucky stars, Their parents eyes are blinded by the past, They valued their values too fast
Aspire for free love, Because Love's desensitised, We squint in despair of the morning light, Lose sight of what is right, Long for what is wrong, And cling to comfort best known unknown
Poppy's spring on a bedroom floor, The face of the flag stripped and adorned, fundaments are raised and hung, By reddened eyes and blackened lungs, Set the stakes, set the trends, To hate the loved, living pretense, The truth decieved inspires the mass, They valued their values too fast

I love the line "valued their values too fast". It's wonderful. You had a great beat and a good tone, once again.
