Hello everyone! Looks like I'll have to dust off my old ruffled tux and platform shoes for the latest guild event. You might remember some talk of an awards ceremony- well it's happening.
What: The Oldies
The first annual guild awards hosted by me, Main Man Methuselah (and perhaps a date if I can find one!) Get on your best, dress to impress.
It's like the Oscars, the Grammys, the Emmys, etc.
We need your help though. We need to design an image of what the award looks like. We'd also love to see "guild art", fan art of avis, members, etc. We now have our very own photobucket account to store guild images (I'll post the link when we have something in our album).
We also need your help on another matter. 1. Get those last minute nominations in! 2. Winners of the Oldies will need to make an "Acceptance Speech". Winners should post a reply in the Oldies Winners thread. Your speech could be a long, flowing account of your journey towards the award... or you could simply say "bump".
If you have ideas, questions, or suggestions this is the place to post them.
We'll see you at the oldies! Gee, I hope I can find that date...
