I have very little sympathy for preachy people. They never seem to acknowledge that there are other valid religions, and lo and behold, theirs may not be right. I do understand their reasoning behind wanting to "save our souls" but it's none of their business whether my soul is "saved" or not. I mean, perhaps I'd rather be reincarnated than saved. Lolz.

So calmly as I can muster, without being sarcastic I reply, "You people lost him, again??"

"Of course," I offer trying to give them some defense for losing Jesus. "He could have left due to religious differences. If I remember correctly He was Jewish. So if you are really so eager to find him..." I smile gently to soften the blow. "Check the nearest synagogue. He's probably in there. Also you folks should try and remember that this is America... Where freedom of religion means ALL religions."

Oh man, this is so freaking funny. "Check the nearest synagogue." I'm so going to tell that to someone if they ask me if I've found Jesus. It's so true though. It's sad, but Wiccan's seem to be the most religiously tolerant group of people I've ever come across. I mean, to us, it's okay what religion you are, we seem happy just knowing you've got faith in something! It's true, probably not all Wiccan's are like this, but all the ones I've come across are just like meh, I'm Wiccan, YOU can be whatever YOU want to be, but I'm going to keep being Wiccan. heart
