Hair/Eye Color : Long black tresses with natural waves reach half way down her back. Her eyes, as blue as the sky or as gray as the clouds depending in her mood, are framed by thick dark lashes.
Pet : Female Kneazle, Astrum (meaning star), has black fur with dark blue spots, and yellow eyes. However, since Kneazles are not allowed at Hogwarts, Astrum stays at home during the school year and Xavier, the brown speckled family owl, comes with her to school.
Home Life : She didn't know her parents. Father, Kenneth McRain, was killed in the first war. Mother, Juliana McRain died during childbirth. She lives with her grandparents, Darius and Mandy Mcrain. Darius is a retired auror, but sill works in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. Mandy is a healer at St. Mungos, dealing especially with children. She has no siblings and is spoiled to a certain degree. Her grandparents make sure she is well cared for and usually give her what she wants. However, Addie somehow managed to grow up with a sense of humility and fairness because of the easy going and loving nature of her grandparents. She is a pureblood, but has been raised to not let blood status change her judgment about someone. The McRains also have a house elf named Mitsie, whose family has been with the McRains for generations. She is given all the accommodations as a free house elf, but refuses pay. She is very devoted to her family that she serves.
Diving deeper : Adhara McRain, called Addie by her grandparents and close friends, loves to read and write. She likes to sit outside, under trees usually, and read all kinds of books, muggle and wizard alike. She is also usually seen with a notebook where she sits and writes stories, poems, and song lyrics. She loves to sing and learn new things. She also loves to play quidditch, and is a fan of the Appleby Arrows.
Taking a closer look : Addie took a good look at her surroundings. Just being up here, looking out at the waves of trees and valleys from the mountain gave her an inner peace. She was so glad she agreed to come on this vacation with her grandparents. It was exactly what she needed. A break from the drama war zone that her life had become.

You have been Accepted
to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Addie is one of the few students who has made mention of being
a musician and I'm interested to see what you do with that. Will she
try to stirr up a band, like the Wierd Sisters? Or do something along
those lines? Just throwing ideas out there, hopefully you give this girl
more depth along the way. She has the potential to go many ways
with her personality.
