Winter had long since past -- and spring and summer had long since come -- but the greenery and warm weather still made a certain photographer smile on the inside on a regular, daily basis ... while it simultaneously made a certain Sneasel cry.

With the leaving of the snow, Aislin had made it her daily ritual to take hikes into the surrounding wilderness and dabble around with her camera. To her, it all sounded like a reasonable thing to do; she had no current tasks to uphold for her job, and she no longer had to take any trips up north and partake in the national sport of becoming frost bitten. SO, why not run around in hot forests? However, her little demon shadow -- who happened to be in the form of an oddly hued Sneasel -- didn't really... share Aislin's enthusiasm for such activity.

And today was no different.

After a few rounds of trainer vs. pokemon, a clearing was found and dubbed suitable for all means of merry-making (at least for one soul of the party). Aislin disappeared into the bushes to become Jungle Girl, her camera glued to her hands, and Hyacinth grumbled around near the base of a tree before she spotted something that made her little heart jump.

A MUD puddle. Oh the joys of

After a quick glance around to make sure the coast was clear, it took the white Sneasel all of two seconds to become some weird a** bump in the wet, earthy substance. Ah, the power of revenge~

Having always been a nature lover, Arin was out and about as usual. Hush had been following along until recently, when she got too tired to continue and Arin took pity and decided to carry her.

"Uhg, damn trees are always in the way.." Grumbled the short trainer, branches now free to smack her in the face now that her hands were occupied. Trying to help somewhat, Hush swung her club at oncoming branches, trying to break them.

Arin giggled, smiling at her little pokemon. "Thanks dear."

Hush waggled her tail before perking up, sensing another pokemon nearby.

"Hm? What is it- oh." Arin spoke a little too soon, just emerging from the trees to spot a rather large brown lump moving on the ground. Standing there and blinking, Arin stood still, not recognizing what kind of pokemon it was.

Said brown bump shifted slightly in its murky pit, but soon enough the scent of the other pokemon reached her.

The brown lump cracked open one cyan eye, and then the other, and stared at the newcomers. For a moment she kept quite still, either sizing them up or simply wondering what to do. Socializing wasn't exactly her forte... but what the heck, Jungle Girl wasn't about and the two in front of her seemed to be just as boring as the trees.

She raised her head and gave it a quick shake, dripping mud flying every-which-way, then continued to just look. She shifted her eyes from the human to the Cubone, but in the end settled more on the human. Her nose gave a twitch.

Hush, sniffing and managing to recognize the white and brown spotted pokemon, wiggled her feet to be let down. Arin snapped out of her slight trance and put her on the ground, giggling.

"Looks like someone found a fun place to play.." She said, still wary of the pokemon. Now that she recognized it as a Sneasel, she remembered the long deadly claws. Hush stood at her trainers feet, not quite willing to risk herself.

Cu bone bone cu? |Are you out here alone?|

This one didn't seem to threating, really, playing in a mud puddle and all.

The Sneasel blinked, but other than that she did very little in way of response. Was it due to lack of interest? Rudeness? Mud in her ears? It was anyone's guess, really. Maybe she just wasn't the talkative sort of Pokemon.

Whatever the reason, the muddy Sneasel kept quiet and continued to watch the other trainer and the Cubone.

(( x_x really sorry about the super late response. Also, I'll throw Aislin into the RP in my next post <3 ))
