((I'm going to fast-forward time real fast so we can get out of the water))
After what seems like an hour or more the monster was still following, but with Jarenio's spikes he was never focused on the air users for very long. In the horizon the mainland could finally be seen, lifting Illusion's spirits if no one elses. She continued to move her arms with Artemis, she ached all over but knew that stopping could be the worse possible move she could make. The waves were so high, and with their being on rocks of pumice they were basically surfing on the waves towards dry land.

((I'm going to be unable to post for 4 days >.< I'll try to pop back in when I get back.))
Moriarty seemed slightly distracted by something as they grew closer to shore, and quietly walked off and away from the group. His brother appeared before him, also walking in the same direction, and the two brothers meandered off like zombies following a scent. Kat turned around before they were out of sight, and waved goodbye to Illusion, and they continued to walk off.

Artemis continued to move with Lus. She was glad the waves were getting bigger and they were moving faster, but she didn't know how long she could last. They winds were rushing around them and it was getting hard to stay balanced and in beat with Lus. The monster kept coming at them, getting speared, diving, then coming after them again. "We have to do something now. I can't take this much longer." She yelled over the winds.

Jarenio launched another spear along with the 6 that were already in the monster. Being fed up with this fight Jarenio launched himself onto the creature when it was up and stabbed it with his sword and it erupted into a geyser of blood.

"I think it's safe to say that we don't have to deal with it any longer." Illusion mumbled tiredly as the monster's blood colored the sea red. She lowered her arms and held on to the pumice, tiredly kicking with her legs till she reached the beach. She crawled out of the water and looked at teh sun, it was still high in the sky. Their wings would dry within a few hours. "I offer you my gratitude earth wielder. My nation will not harm you." She looked off in the direction Kat and Mor went in, then she looked at Artemis. "By the time our wings dry we'll be rested enough to make it back to Palpi Sol."

"If only every country would be kind enough to say that." Jarenio jumped off his boat. "Travel Safe Princess Illusion of air. If you may excuse me I have an army i need to assemble and a country to take back, im going to take every bit of land that we have lost in this stupid time of war." Jarenio started to walk away and then turned back around and asked Illusion "Tell your nation that the Earth is looking for any able bodied macers to join the fight with us" Jarenio then walked away.

"Oh thank goodness." Artemis breathed as she sat down on her rock. She used an air current agianst her back to move her forward. Once she reached the land, she crawled to land and collapsed on the ground near Illusion. "Hmm, how about a nap?" She muttered. She closed her eyes and let the sun do it's magic.

A nap?! "But we've got to get back to the mountains!!!" She she could tell that ARtemis had already fallen asleep. 'Darnnit!' But she was too restless to stay where they were. She scribbled down on a wet piece of parchement that she had gone ahead and to catch up when she was rested. She slipped the parchement under a rock next to her head. 'Later.' She thoguht as she beat her wings until dry, which with the ferocity she was using only took a half hour. Then she took to the skies and flew to palpi sol.

Artemis woke up about a half an hour after Lus had left. She sat up carefully and found the note under the rock. "Oh, man. But you said to rest!" she complained to no one after reading the note. She stood up and found that her wings were dry, but half of her body was covered in sand. She walked over to a rock, stood on top of it so that when getting rid of all of the sand, more wouldn't come up in the winds. A quick jet around her body and she was ready to set off and fly. She walked over to the edge of the beach and faced the direction of PalpiSol. She needed to go as fast as she could to make up for the time she lost sleeping, so she took a running start and with a small boom, she set off to PalpiSol.

Coming from the west, Seth flew in over the sea carrying Maryl. The rush of their flight and Seth's emitting ki pushed a shallow trough in the surface of the gentle waves. The water was slightly lighter below them where it was much thinner. A city could be seen on the ocean floor. Must be Navale Mercato, She thought. Seth had never been near there but recognized its position and appearance from maps and descriptions before. I wonder how water has been faring since this madness began? It seems like earth is the only one to suffer so severely. I thought Fire and Air were at odds, but apparently fire had time to carve a bloody path through earth at the same time. I don't know what to do? I don't think there's anything I can do. . .

Maryl had to resist the temptation to spread her arms out in the breeze of flying over the cool sea, mainly it was because it wasn't a good idea to let go of Seth in mid flight like this. Being able to be airborne like this was always exciting but being able to see a strangely submerged town made the experience even more spectacular. She didn't know such a thing could be possible before, but there it was: an underwater city.

Getting a good look at the side of her face, Seth could tell Maryl was amazed and entertained seeing Navale Mercato below. Most people probably would be from what she's heard and now finally seen. Though it was the first time Seth had seen it. She'd only heard about it from passing conversation at the Tinker's Union base. The U-boat designers were on the verge of a breakthrough for non magical travel down to the city.
Seth remained on course cruising over the town and continuing east. At the very least, it looked like nothing above the surface was following them. Once the town passed it was fairly difficult to see into the water very far.
