Put up ideas for the greatest level 5 character ever.
Please keep it to official Please keep it strictly to official classes and prestige, feats, etc. released in the D&D material.

I'm about to play a campaign with a Ranger2/Fighter2/Duskblade1. With a Dex of 18, Point Blank shot, Precise shot, Favored Weapon (Longbow), I get an attack of +11 with my bow (not counting bonuses to favored enemies). At level 5, that can hit anything you'd expect to encounter in a level 5 adventure.
I'm sure I can do better, and I'm sure you guys can to. Toss up your concepts so we can share and steal ideas off each other >_<.

would this not be 100% based of circumstances and personal choice?

Rinith Cresent would this not be 100% based of circumstances and personal choice? Yeah, almost most of the time. The reality is it's possible to make a terrible level 5 character. But, If I toss out some really cool, "wow I never thought of that combo" idea and you read it, then you get the inspiration that you can now use in your future games. The point of this exercise is to offer hypothetical, super cool ideas that other people can be inspired by, comment on, critique to improve, or just down right steal and use in their own campaigns someplace.

I commented on another topic about this but I figured it applies here.
Warlock at level 4 can use Deceive Item ability to "Take 10" on Use Magic Device checks even when threatened, etc. This potentially allows for the casting of any spell up to level 4 from a wand with garunteed success.
Tell me what other level 4 character can cast a level 4 spell. Crazyness.
The drawback is when you're level 17, and you can still only use level 4 spells. Sigh.
But then, there's scrolls. Yay!

Kobold Divine Minion 1/Wizard 1/Master of Many Forms 3 http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=491801 Not mine, obviously. Basic idea is, kobold shapeshifts into a sarrukh, which has Manipulate Form. Gives his viper familiar the Manipulate Form ability, un-shapeshifts, then has his familiar bestow Manipulate Form on him as well. Badda-bing, he can give himself (and his familiar) pretty much any ability, spell, power, ability score, whatever he wants. At will.

See, that's the kind of ideas I was expecting when I first make this thread. Insanity. Any others? I've heard of a few Kobold related power-builds, since they're dragon types they have access to feats and abilities.
