" I just got back a few minutes ago, really. I was .. Out in the football field. " Riku said, giving her a small smile, and nodding. He had been away that long and all he was doing was sit, and think, about all of them in the field. Of course, he was watching some students, but they were not important, to him anyway. He sighed as he laid his back against the wall and smiled at her, looking deep into her eyes. " How are you? "

Fingers curled, her hand rested against her lips remembering the feel of Hayate's on her own. "I know this is sudden," she started. "But there's someone I want you to meet. You and the others as well." She recounted her story of the night's events from accidentally meeting up with Hayate to the time they spent at the lake. "I told him he was welcomed to visit. Promise me you'll give him a chance?" Kairi's pleading gaze penetrated into Riku's own eyes.

Riku had now a fake smile, which seemed true. He nodded and then spoke, " I'll be happy to meet him .. Kairi-chan .. " Riku said as he looked towards the living room, his eyes was secretly looking as if he was saddened and disappointed, but as the fake smile on his face could be seen, it could be ignored. " I'll be on the couch.. " Riku said as he turned and then left the kitchen, walking towards the main living room. As soon as he reached the couch, he jumped and landed, on his bottom, on the couch. He made a small and secret sigh as he turned on the television.

Did something bad happen while she was out enjoying herself? Or maybe he had already met Hayate and didn't like him? The possibilities were endless, but she hoped it wasn't her doing. Kairi followed him to the living room and stood behind the couch, behind him. She set her hands on his shoulders and bent forward to speak in his ear. "Riku-kun, if something is bothering you, don't hesitate to talk to me. I'm here for you, okay? No matter what it may be." She hugged him from behind.

I Made A Promise That I Will Wait For You..
I Will Keep That Promise Till The End..
Riku closed his eyes as soon as he felt Kairi's warm hands and her hugging him. He raised his head and pulled it backwards, resting it on the couch's end and looked at Kairi from below. " I'm fine .. Kairi-chan. " Riku said, with a smile, and then nodding. Then, he leaned his head forward again, moving his attention back to the television. I'm fine .. I am .. Riku said in his thoughts.

_____ /// ★ -κ σ ι я ι---κ η Ø Ļ Ļ ★©Azure Verite-----"If you say so," Kairi whispered softly. She gave Riku one last squeeze before letting go. "I'll be in my room if anyone needs me, okay?" She lightly touched a hand to his shoulder and turned to go to her room. When she reached her bedroom, Kairi closed the door most of the way, but left it open a crack so if anyone wanted to come in all they had to do was push the door gently. She laid her keys and cell phone on her desk as she kicked her shoes off and to the side. Grabbing fresh pair of underwear and her pajamas, she entered her bathroom and closed the door softly, locking it. Kairi reached her arm inside the shower to turn the hot water knob around. While letting the water run as it warmed up, she stripped herself of her dirty clothing and tossed them the laundry basket. Kairi pulled out her earrings and set them on her earring rack. Any other jewelry was shed as well. Sticking a hand underneath the running water to check its temperature, she found the water to be pleasantly warm. She stepped within the tile and glass shower closing the shower door behind her.
-----With water running down her back, a hand ran through her hair wetting it. Grabbing the shampoo bottle, Kairi squeezed a substantial amount into the palm of her hand and snapped the top shut. Its soothing scent calmed her mind as she lathered it through her hair. After rinsing the bubbly shampoo out, conditioner was applied and she let it sit while she used almond scented body wash as soap over her body. Next, a special facial soap contained in a small tube was lifted off the shower wall holder. She squeezed a small dollop onto her palm and rubbed her hands together creating a foamy lather. She rubbed her hands against her face in a circular motion cleaning off any reminiscences of makeup, dust, or dirt that may have built up during the day. Kairi finally rinsed the conditioner out of her hair leaving it silky smooth. Using both hands to turn each of the knobs off, water stopped flowing out of the shower head. She grabbed a big fluffy towel and briskly dried her body off, but not before squeezing any excess water out of her long hair.
-----Once she was more or less dry, Kairi reached for one jar of her many creams and lotions. She applied facial cream to her cheeks first then spread it to her nose, forehead, and chin. She closed the jar spinning the cap on and switched it with body lotion. When she popped open the top, the sweet smell of peaches filled the air. Kairi liberally applied to her arms, legs, and torso. Soon she smelled of sweet peaches as well. Dressing herself in her pajama bottoms and a tank top, her damp hair hung down unruly. She took her time to brush out all the tangles and knots. Kairi never blow dried her hair as it took forever to get her hair to dry. Instead, she left it to air dry at its own pace. Finished with her activities in the bathroom, she unlocked the bathroom door and reentered her bedroom. A rush of cool air hit her at full force and the warm moist air in the bathroom began to cool to normal. Kairi picked up the pair of shoes she had nonchalantly kicked off earlier and put them properly in their respective spot in her organized closet. Exhausted from the day's excitement, she flopped onto her bed belly up and stared up at the stars on her ceiling. She began to count them out of habit, but got no farther than eighteen before she drifted off to sleep. Her breathing evened out and she enjoyed a peaceful dreamless sleep.

Riku sighed and nodded before she left and continued to watch television. Suddenly, he shifted his head around to look at Kairi's door and then turned back to the television. I think I should go clear my mind.. Riku said in his own thoughts. He turned off the television set, using the remote control placed beside him and then headed to his room. He took his shirt off and then went on the computer, double clicking the Æsir icon. He stepped into the transporter and then went directly to Æsir..
