Card weaving by Candace Crockett is the book I learned from. Most libraries have that.

I know people who make their own cards from a deck of playing cards, just drilling holes in the corners. You don't need a loom of any sort if you don't want to.

How long did it take?

Stringing the loom with the cards, three hours maybe? I did it in parts, since tying the cards can hurt after a while.

Actually weaving, ten hours maybe? The second weft string with the bells slowed me down. I had to stop and unweave a bit since the bells weren't working right at first.

Half an hour to start with to figure out the pattern.

But I didn't weave straight through so I think I started week before last maybe?

I am super impressed! It looks so pretty and well made. I cant get the hang of weaving and kintting sad I keep trying to learn but I always fail.
I'll stick to cross stitch and sock monsters smile
