I'm on an RP server, however with my healing priest I tend to survive fairly well when I take her out PvPing or through arenas. I don't have much in the ways of resilience gear, however it's fun. It's just the leveling part that stucks.

Priests are probably one of the easier levelers, but they can take some time. Just wand until 60.

Priests are really cool if you intend to level it to 70 while you sleep so you feel no pain, and if all you want to do when you hit 70 is instance and raid. No dailies, no soloing, just instance and raid. My shadowpriest is my main. I think its more of a personal preference thing, and to be honest you can't really tell if you like priests until you hit 70. Some people love them, some people hate them. Some people have complex love-hate relationships where some days its only because they're in full epics that they don't rage and delete my- I mean 'their' priest. >_>

However good priests are at leveling, they will be subpar to warlocks (at leveling), mainly due to the fact that warlocks have practically free tanks, as well as mana buckets when needed. Warlocks rarely, if ever need to eat or drink, which reduces downtime tremendously. The only things better at reducing downtime would be huntards or druids. Druids are very hard to play (correctly) though, but when they are, they're arguably the best class for pvp. I would recommend from your list, a warlock, honestly, b/c they're VERY good at pvp when geared, and extremely easy to level.

I went ahead and made a mage until he bores me. My main is still on Lightbringer though.

How fast it takes to level or if it's good in pvp are only temporary factors, pvp balance shifts and you'll hit the cap level and be stuck with that character until you level up from 1 (or 55) all over again. Play a class you enjoy above all else.

Not good in the armor department and in the earlier levels doesn't have much in the way of protection other then hoping that you kill the mob before it kills you. D: THis comes into play especially if you are fire spec'd. sweatdrop

For leveling you should be frost spec anyway. Frost is all about survivability, you have slowing spells, freezing spells, deadly aoes (that have slowing effects) and s**t. If you're fire, you have so many stun/daze effects nothing should be hitting you, and even if those stun/dazes don't go off, its not like you can't still use frost nova, freeze them in place, blink away, and shoot off more fireballs. And if it takes you longer than that to kill something, you're either doing it wrong or you're fighting something thats too hard for you. A mage has more survivability than you think.
