Should I get it or not even worth looking at? I've heard it's a great trumpet but I want other's opinions.

I'd say get it. I know nothing about it but if you've heard it's good and you want it, I'd say get it.

If its a nice trumpet && plays well
get it

trumpets aren't cheap; whether or not they're a "good" brand

I bought a Sterna 700 silver trumpet by Getzen a few weeks ago for $70
needless to say I was ecstatic when they went like $50 lower than asking price
Had to buy $20 worth of supplies *polishing cloth, mouthpiece brush(mine broke), and mouthpiece spray that tastes like spearming =D*
then there were like 2 little dents I wanted out and the tuning slide needed re aligned, so that was $100

meaning it about $190 all together, considering a used totally beat up trumpet thats reallt only worth buying for parts is like $500

my advice to you would be play the horn...seriously! if you feel that you are comfortable eith the tone and you can actually get sound from it... then you should get it...if not try Blessings they're great horns and they're one of the cheaper brands! I have a Blessing... 3nodding

essentially yes, but not entirely. I'd say It's vital that you try it out first. Some people buy a really fancy trumpet that they can't play. Some brands just don't work for some or most people. Try out a few trumpets, and see which tone is the best. If your looking for a really bright sound, try going for Getzen or Bach. If you're looking for a bit more darker sound (which is generally used in chamber music), I don't know any special brands for that. But try going for a trumpet with nickel plating, those generally darken the sound a lot more.

I completly disagree. There are so many attruibutes to trumpets, that can back for a better sound.

And on the other hand, cheep trumpets won't last you long. You have to go for something more expensive, and take good care of it.
I've had 2 200 dollar trumpets in my life. and each only lasted me about a year or 2, but now I have a Bach, the best brand there is, and it's amazing. Only had one problem with it the 4 years that I've had it. It's pretty, and plays extremly well. Remember that when it comes to your horn, Go for quality not price.
