Well....Banzai won first place, and our little Booda took in 3rd place out of 2 races! I was so shocked that they seemed to show interest not only in doing this, but did so well.

Both however seemed a little confused when everyone kept trying to cheer them on and then when it was over. When we got home I gave them some ferretone, to them that was the best thing EVER. ^__^ I hung their ribbons above their cage, and next month we will try again.

There was one shitty thing though...some dude with 2 ferrets said to me..."If they do not win I am getting rid of them." I really thought he was one of those people with a sick sense of humor...but after talking to Kathy I found out he actually meant it. His ferrets lost the race...so I went to his wife and talked to her. She is thinking about getting rid of them. So I gave her my numbers and told her that after she calls our ferret rescue lady, Barb, is full I can take them...after all I was going to volunteer my time and such to Barb for fostering. I found out that this lady never lets them out as she went..."They will be lucky if they get out even by Monday"....What kind of a life is that?! Living in a 5 foot cage, never getting to roam. She over washes them (Washes them 2 times a week, you only really need to do it bi monthly if that)...she feeds them CAT FOOD?!!!? What the hell?! You cannot feed them cat food! *Sigh* Lets just hope they call me. Everything she told me, they are abusing them really.

But yeah, I am proud of all my kids...we had them all there, and they were really behaved and sweet to everyone they met...as usual. ^__^


Now I gotta go cook human foods for tomorrows all day ferret organization meeting.
