I borrowed my cousin's copy of A Wonderful Life: Special Edition the other day and I decided to marry Lumina, but I have a problem:
How do I get her past the green heart to the 4 red ones?!
Seriously, I tried giving her flowers twice a day and talking to her constantly, but it never went up! I think I have to also make friends with Romana and Sebastian before it goes up, but I don't know. It's Spring 7th already and nothing's happened!! Both Muffy and Celia have me at one red heart and all I did was talk to them!
Does anybody know what to do to make her love me?

The thing with Lumina is that it takes a while to get her to love you. Keep giving her flowers and she'll eventually start to take notice. There are also a lot of special heart scenes that you have with her that will make her like you [if you answer correctly]. It will probably take rougly 3 months to get her up to 4 hearts.
In AWL SE you can't get married just because the girl says yes anyway. You have to wait the full year before your wedding. This goes for ALL of the girls. So if you get Celia up to 4 hearts by Summer and when you propose she says 'yes' you still can't actually marry her until the FULL year is done.

Yeah that's the problem with the game >.>;;
I don't know the heart scenes for Lumina but I do know what she likes. It's true. It will take you roughly a month to get her to love you (I think I did it within two months I think). Go to the digsite and find the Ores, the pretty white stones. She loves those. In the summer, pick up the red flowers called happy lamps. She loves those as well. Keep working at it and she'll eventually fall for you.
I married her and got somewhat far but when I started a new game and married Nami....I saved over that data >.>;;

Yeah, she's at 4 red hearts now. I just kept giving her stuff and yeah. . .
So let me get this straight . . . If I marry in Summer, I won't get married until the Next Summer . . . ? I dono't think that's right because my cousin married at the end of year 1.

I'm not sure how the gamecube version of this game works but no. You don't marry her next year. At the end of year 1, your character will leave his house and head for the villa. You go around town and automatically, you're married.
