I quote this from Def Lepp's website: "Hometown heroes Def Leppard have defended their decision to do a co-headline tour amid suggestions they haven't got what it takes to fill major UK venues on their own anymore."
This quote just pisses me off. I went 2 a Def Leppard concert and the thing was sold out. About every 1 was there 2 c Def Leppard. Almost nobody got up during their performance. I think that they could pack shows in the UK on their own.
If u read the rest of the article, Joe kinda thinks that they r still in the suckish period of Def Leppard.
I disagree with Joseph. What do u think?
Do they got the talent and the songs 2 rock the UK on their own?

I'm pretty sure they could.
But.. People like that should shut up. It's NOT the 80s anymore. So granted, Def Leppard aren't OMG THE HOTTEST, MOST POPULAR BAND EVAR. Whatever. We don't care.
As long as there are fans of them, they will sell tickets at shows.

Don't even get me started on that fakey tweenager pop music masquerading as watered down rock.
All that s**t like Hannah Montana, Jonas Brothers, any pre teenage Disney Channel exports need to crawl in a cave and not come out for like five years or something.

every time someone refers to the Jonas Brothers or Miley Cirus as rock i die a little inside.
great bands like DL are getting the short end of the stick because they're no longer 20 and REAL rock is no longer popular in teen culture. but even though some people don't know what real rock is, there's still quite enough to fill MANY DL concerts.

In 10-20 years from now, I don't think Miley or the Jo-Bros will even be popular anymore. Its sad to think that we dont really have any1 special that changed music history in this decade. People dont know real music and they dont appreciate it either. It makes me sad. The reason I created this guild was to help spread the knowledge of good music to those types of people that think Disney is the only type of "good" music out there. Def Leppard is such an amazing and inspiring band and I think everybody should listen to them. smile
