Yep, just like I mentioned in the thread, we're thinking about ways to change up and keep interest within the shop.

Many people have mentioned things, and here's what we may be working towards.

- Cutting out the Baby stage (so it would go Pendant > Toddler > Child > Teen > Adult currently)

- People want more sales....but what kind etc?

- Quests. While I think Tenshi and I enjoy them, do they help you with your RP and ideas?

- Growth Scale. Emphasizing the ways that growth occurs (and the fact that we don't remind you to RP)

- How to deal with Inactive Players.

Anyways...these are just a few starting points. Take them as you will, but serious input would be great to see and hear about. Please help us make the shop better and more active with your comments!

I would say get rid of the baby stage or the basket that is with the baby stage.....*sets fire to basket*

Sorry I've been so quiet, I need to get going RP-wise. Here's an idea that is working well from what I've seen at another shop. Have people with children (maybe even without) sign up in a thread, and then when sign ups close, stick these people in to 2-3 person groups, set with a prompt in their own thread. I think this could be fun here if done right!

I agree with cutting out the baby stage- It's nice and all, but RPing is hard with a baby.

More sales? Hmm. Flatsales are always fun, but it takes a lot of time. Here's a bad suggestion. Why not have a couple pets for sale every month or two? People can come in, chat, answer a promt to show they can take care of the child, and at the end of said number of months, pick a winner of the child(ren)

Quests are very fun! ^^

Hmm... No real comment on the growth scale. It seemed pretty clear to me ^^;

Inactive players- Well, Pm them and tell them about being inactive. After a certain amount of time, send them one more warning. If still no response, unless they have a journal entry or something that says why they're gone, re-home the child.

Maybe adding some kind of twist to the shop would help? Like having a shop-wide event. Maybe the center could get wrecked, or someone could try and shut them down.

Most of these are just suggestions ^^; Hope they helped!

Well, beginning with the things that have already been mentioned;

Concerning baby stage;

Cutting off the baby stage does sound like a good idea. For me, RPing babies do become rather boring after a while since they don't have the ability to do much.

Concerning sales;

I always like RP Flatsales more than anything else, especially when she happens to be in a uber writing mood 8'D Rein doesn't mind auctions but she really hates raffles XD

Concerning quests;

I really like them <33 They are really fun to complete and really helped me when I was on a semi writers block.

Concerning growth scale;

Not much to say about this. *looks away* >>

Concerning Inactive Players;

Warning notices being PMed to owners that are contactable oAo?

And if they don't reply, you can always try rehoming again. But if that doesn't work, the children can always be turned into NPCs or...something....>___>? *shot*

Concerning...other things;

Rein has nothing else to say. Except for the Metaplot that was planned =o

Is it still being continued or being put off for a later time?

It's possible to get more people active by making some sort of big RP event that would last several days or so. RP events are always fun but when they drag out for too long, I believe people begin to lose interest in it afterwards.

Or it does to me.

*shrug* Everyone is different I suppose XDD *shot*

Rein's post of "suggestions" is done. If I think of anything else, I'll be sure to make another post...or edit this one...XDDD

Hmmm....I kinda like the baby stage, it's rather cute. Maybe not get rid of it, but have it a very short length of time. ^_^

I like the idea of quests, but I haven't done one yet, so I don't know how I would enjoy one. ^_^

As for sales, I'm looking forward to the Bleach sale that was talked about a while back. ^_^
