I have tattoos, had no problems getting them and love them. I know someone who's getting ready to get her first piercing (lip) but wants to know what to expect. Do you have any body art and what was your experience like?

I don't have any tattoos, but I am hiding behind the shoe boxes on that one. Needles scare me to death, but I did go and get my belly-button done about 3 months ago. (yes, it did hurt) And it felt awkward... because the dude was right near my stomach the whole time.... so yeah...
And my girlfriend got her lip done. It doesn't hurt as bad as some people try to say it does, but if you don't take good care of it, then it will hurt later. Getting it done initially isn't that bad... She winced but I think that was because the dude was right in her face. Literally. But they kinda have to be. heart s and Kudos to your friend! Hope the lip thing goes well!

I have a DOMO tee NoWaii *w*Ooh! I always wanted to get a tattoo! A pair of little wings on my back [yay...original T.T] I have to wait another couple of years till I'm able to get one so I'll think it through. The only thing is, I seem to feel more pain than ordinary people do ^^; domokun

When my cousin had her first tattoo done she was actually able to get some numbing "stuff" for a little extra cost. Not sure if it helped her but she has a lot of tattoos now so it mustn't have been too bad for her overall.
When I had mine done, at first it was stressful, but once I realized that the pain wasn't going to get worse and relaxed it wasn't so bad.

Personally, I'd love to get an eyeball tattoo. cool
Shame the things cost so much, mainly because you need a specialized surgical team.
But it'd still be awesome. xd

I don't see how it would be scary.
And I besides, you frequently see my eyes.
And no, that's not a "looking down on you" joke. lol

That's funny Kronic. I saw one on a tattoo artist that had the word "wet" inked behind his ear...made me laugh.

I passed out during my first tattoo and almost did for my second one sweatdrop I honestly think my belly button piercing was a lot easier even though they stuck a giant needle through my flesh as it was over in a second and only hurt for about a week. But you have to be very careful about infections for lip piercings especially. All piercings can get sweat and infection in them if you don't treat them for much longer than you would treat a tattoo, even about six months.

That's a rather... odd thing to want to do Pony x] Is it the area of the tattoo or the actual tattoo that you'd like to lick...? O_o;
There's not much point to me getting any more piercings seeing as I never wear earings... But I like how those little clasp type things which attach to the top of your ear look.

I'm not sure if it's the location - They are hidden on the under side of his arms so if he want's to work for a conservative company they aren't so noticable.
....he's just so sweet....I could lick him all over. sweatdrop
I'll get over it. lol I've sworn off men, or relationships in general. My ex has me freaked out right now. I know I could delete his profile comments to me but I'm leaving them there in case he tries to p/u chicks online. wahmbulance
