we still havent put him in his big boy bed, but we are going to do it for his birhtday
is it to soon or no?

Each child is different. Some are ready for it, some arent. So it is completely up to you. My son is 17 1/2 months old and he is still in his crib. He can climb out (though he cannot land safely) so we are working on getting his room around (he is still in our bedroom since his room was a storage room for our father in law before we moved in and when he passed away no one wanted to go through his stuff) so we can put him in a big boy bed in his own room where he will be safe to get in and out of bed and get into whatever he wants in there without getting hurt.
Everyone I have talked to says that they waited until their child was climbing out of the crib and it wasnt safe anymore. So, its up to you really. Good luck with it though!
