sweet mary jane Ze Waffle Okay, so I'm planning on trying to get a band together this summer and start playing shows (hopefully) as soon as possible. But I'm scared to death of performing in front of people. How do I get over this fear? well well...... It would seem that you do have a problem on your hands. Listen.......... This is how I got over stage fright: One day, I whent up to my rrom and locked the door and close the blinds and put tin foil over the big a** hole on the wall. Then I put my Fender over my shoulders, plugged it in to my Line 6 Spider, put some teddy bears on chairs in front of my bed and imagined that they were my audience. It works like a charm. Just don't, under any circumstances, let any see you do this or you will be on a one-way ticket to Saint Anger insane Asylum. Hope it works! haha this made me laugh. =] that's not such a bad idea though. lol

The only time i've ever gotten stage fright was when i was playing bass in my new band in portland. i don't know the reason why, i still played great, it just seemed so surreal. also the band going on right after us was cobra starship...which i had not previoselly heard of. xp

My first gig was at a banquet and I didn't have my band cause they went attending so I had to duet with another guitar on 5 min. notice. But the way I got over it was I looked at everybody in the room and thought who cares if i mess up it doesn't matter its not like I am ever going to see these people again. Hope It helps!!
