I dunno about anybody else, but spotting more than the infrequent glimpse of one of the Vrairève in the main thread sometimes seems to be a once-in-a-blue-moon occasion. And the whisper of the wind as it plays in the empty Dreamer's subforum is as the wailing of my heart... *sentimental violin music here*
..All right, here's the scoop. RPing Dreamers has the potential to be a whole lot of fun, but it's nigh impossible to know who's willing and available these days. So if you're looking to do so, post up this here thread so we can meet each other and get cracking!
BUT! Don't run away if you couldn't get one at the Festival last year. The Dreamers can descend from their Isle sometimes, though they can only breed with other Dreamers, and if you see somebody here you absolutely MUST RP with one of your ulaya, then please say so!
Also, if that "Hook me up!" says Yes, that means this person is looking for fun stuff, and wants you to help brainstorm whether or not it actually involves any ulaya you own (but it obviously shouldn't involve anyone who hasn't given permission). If that makes any sense at all. >.>

Personality blurb: She's very, very nerdy, if you want the simple version. Acantha might very well come off as slow or stupid to the wrong ulaya, but it's really because most of the things she's interested in are long dead and turned to dust. Try to talk about the weather or... whatever normal ulaya talk about, she really doesn't know... and you're likely to lose her within a few moments. But bring up some obscure ancient culture you happened to have heard of, and she'll happily chatter on for hours about her latest findings and the value of one type of historical analysis over another.
Honestly, she has almost no social skills sometimes and isn't likely to notice that the person she's talking to has long since fallen asleep. Nor is it uncommon for her to suddenly blurt out with something ranging from the completely unexpected to the rather rude. It's kind of cute somehow, though. *shot* [journal]
Looking for: Mmm, just about anything really. Friends, enemies, etc, and not just other Dreamers either (actually, some Dreamer-non-Dreamer romance and subsequent heartbreak could be fun too...). Complicated and interesting plots have a high likelihood of catching my eye, though I dunno if I'll be able to find anything like that right now.
Not looking for: Romance (just not at the moment. I want to RP her a bit first and get her personality completely straight without worrying about all that)

Personality blurb: Azrael can be more than a little creepy, but I figure he'll get along fine with Dreamers who are more zen about life and death in general. One of the more unsettling features about him is the fact that he carries the bone that used to be his leg. He's not mean, and he's not nice - he views everything as a cycle, and recognizes that things happen for a reason. He can seem distant and cold at first, and entirely unsympathetic. He isn't very easily impressed.
