To some, you are definitely a weeaboo.
I find that weeaboo is a lot more offensive than the usual "Wapanese" and "Japanophile" - some people use those two to flatter themselves, even.
Weeaboo is so foreign to such people that it becomes offensive. Like calling a white person a " *expletive* Anglo".
Depends on how long you stay for 8000 bucks to be worth it.

That depends on what your purpose of going there is for. If you're there to study and really have interest in doing so, then I say why not? Just don't expect it to be the holy land or anything.
Then again, you never know if you'll have another chance to actually have the same opportunity again. Touring Japan with a tour group is not the same experience as actually studying there, living with the locals and getting accustomed to their... well, customs.
I'd probably grab that chance if I had the money. >_>

Weeaboo is a white person who is obsessed with Japanese and/or Asian Culture.
Eight thousand is a huge sum, and if you want to go to Japan through this program just to try and be a Japanese person, forget it.

I might be goin to Japan this year, but that's only depending on how well the play the japanese club is going to do ._. I might actually do crew work to see that everything is good for the play. But yeah... 8 grand is like, something really amazing better happen like when you arrive a sudden outburst of singing better happen xD.

My grandma is in Japan at the moment. Tokyo, I believe, is the city she is in. Her hometown. Damn it. I wanted to go. I may go next year though.
