The couple had taken residence in a cave, big enough for the five of them to live in, though only two of their daughters stayed with them regularly. The sun was close to setting; longs shadows creeping around the meadow in front of the cave. Tanee layed against the rock, flicking her necklace back and forth as she looked down at it. I was a long day, even though she had slept through most of it.
Aaron made her way beside her, smiling faintly and flicking her with his tail as he sat. "Glad you're awake." He murmured lightly, folding his wings behind his back and laying a paw over her.
Megan was outside, looking for Pazzie, and following a mouse, which was attemtping to find its burrow. She wrinkled her nose for a moment and pounced it, snatching the rodent by its tail and plucking it off of the ground.

Pazzie sat a ways from the cave, upon a rock. Her tongue rasped over her paw before she quickly drew it over her ear. It made her look like a prissy housecat, but eh, who cares? Spying Meghan in the distance she rose to her paws, and jumped from her perch. With bouncing steps she raced over to her."Meghan!~" Reaching her quickly, Pazzie tackled her sister to the ground. She grabbed her ear and gave a light tug."I got you!"

Growling lightly came from an undetermined source. Sitting hunched over a rock was the furred figure of a grey female cub. Her wings drooped upon her back with her head lunged close to the ground. Pawing at a loose pebble a slur of curses came from her mouth and she couldn't help but feel her stomach rumble in pain. "So hungry!" She cried out, rolling over onto her back as if defeated.
Her deep set brown eyes shifted to the clouded sky, watching them swim around in the big open sky. Sighing, she saw the colors that the sun was casting into the usual blue abyss. Her hunger wasn't going away and instead decided to claw at her stomach again, making her cry out. As often as Xnah tried to pretend she was grown up, it was in a circumstance like this that it was obvious she was still just a child. She tried to tell herself she was better off, that her parents didn't care about her since they were hardly ever around, but in their defense she couldn't help but wander about them on occasions like this.

The sounds of the growl caused the female to flick her ears. She could feel her mate shift, and the muscle his leg over her back tense. A slight smile curled over her maw and she looked to Aaron. "Relax," she murmured lightly and licked his cheek before getting to her paws and walked out the cave. "It's Xnah." Her ears flicked and her wings spread, and she raised her maw to the sky and let out a light call, beckoning her daughter to comr closer.
Aaron blinked and watched as she walked off. He stood as well, his mane flickering in the light breeze. "I'll go get us all something to eat then, I suppose." He looked to pazzie and Megan in the clearing before spreading his wings and taking off into the air.
Megan squealed as she was attacked by her sister and pawed at her maw. "Awwww~" Blinking, she stopped squirming as she heard the beat of wings, and looked to her father flying above them. "Daaaddddyyy!" She wrigged out from beneath Pazzie and looked to the male flying off. "I wanna cooooome~!"

Pazzie grinned, being quite happy with her 'catch'. Though her victory was short-lived as she was quickly distracted by a faint growling, and during that time Megan managed to wiggle away. The lioness gave a soft huff as she looked to the sky as well, and gave a grin."Can I come too, Daddy? You don't know what I like." Pazzie called, she was a picky eater after all, and she wouldn't eat if it wasn't what she wanted. Coming up besides her sister, Pazzie looked to the sky to see if her father would let them, or she could just pout and yell out her entire order to him like he was a fast food resturant.
