Distinguishing Features:
Odd Tidbits:
Four-to-Five Word Personality:
Honest, Motherly, Morbid, Fun-loving, Observant
Personality:
Luis does not believe in lying and will often tell what she thinks rather bluntly and will not do otherwise, she does not really believe in sparing the feelings of others but she will be tactful about it if at all possible. She does not like to lie at all and outright refuse to do so even if someone begs it of her. She does not feel that there is anything to gain by omitting the truth or even changing it entirely just to suit someone else's needs much less her own. This can make her someone's greatest friend or their greatest foe.
She is rather observant and watches others rather closely to see how they behave and react in any given environment. First impressions are rather important to her but she will give others multiple chances to prove to her who they really are if she believes they are hiding something or if they simply got off on the wrong foot with her. Luis doesn't mean to seem judgmental but sometimes that is how others might read how she behaves toward others.
The satyr has a very mothering and nurturing side to her that comes out when she feels that someone needs to be taken care of. She doesn't hide it or deny it but she doesn't like being teased about it unless the person doing the teasing is a good friend or has at least known her for a good amount of time. She tends to feel motherly most toward those that are younger than her, have a child-like demeanor, or just seem completely incapable of taking care of themselves for some reason (injured or otherwise).
She can be a little morbid from time to time, having dark thoughts that creep up into her mind, it is probable that it comes from the fact that she still deeply mourns for her lost husband though she never really talks about him. She keeps thoughts about Farrel deep in her heart and refuses to talk about him because she fears as if speaking or sharing the memory of him with others might be the same as 'letting go' or even on the road of forgetting him in general.
Luis can be rather fun-loving, like most satyrs, she likes to enjoy herself. Sometimes she'll get the odd mischievous streak and play a prank or two, but otherwise she just simply behaves in a playful manner and even teases others a little. She likes to show her fun-loving side more than anything else because it doesn't let people know if there anything wrong with her at all.
All-in-all Luis is a good friend and will be more than happy to sit and listen to anyone that needs someone to truly listen to them and need someone that is an impartial party to a problem they might have. She is a very loyal being and will do anything and everything for her friends that is in her ability if she can.

History:
Even for a satyr Luis lived a pretty mundane life. She was pretty happy with where she was in life and for the most part didn't seek or quest for more or to better herself in some way because she felt she was perfectly fine and if someone disagreed they could kiss her fuzzy a**.
It wasn't until she had met Farrel - a half-giant -. She had found Farrel while gathering herbs in the forest. The half-giant was badly beaten by full blooded giants who felt that his half-blood was a taint upon their glorious race. Some how Luis managed to get Farrel to stand - she certainly couldn't carry him - and got him to her small home which happened to be situated not too far away. Gradually she had nursed him back to health and the pair had formed a good solid friendship which later bloomed into love that eventually became marriage. Luis often tried to make herself look more humanoid using her 'Trickery' just so she'd fit in better with her dearest Farrel and he would do whatever he could to make her happy in general.
Eventually the two decided to open a tavern together within the city nearby to give themselves a project to see through together as well as to enjoy the company of other folk as well.
Disaster struck when Farrel went to the roof to fix up the shingles and to mend any holes that had formed over the past months since the last time he had gone up there. Alas his footing slipped and he fell to the ground below in a manner that cleanly broke his neck and he died instantly. Luis grieved for many months and is still grieving. Sometimes she goes through moments where she overanalyzes the situation and assigns herself guilt for not being more attentive or making damned sure that her husband was more careful and took better precautions.
She still runs the tavern though with not as much fervor as when she had Farrel at her side helping her along, but she still tries. Recently she has found herself responsible for taking care of a small gargoyle child she has named Faris (a slight homage to her husband in a round about way). Luis finds the strength to carry on thanks to her adopted daughter.

Family:
- Farrel Dalziel (Husband; Dead) - Tavern Co-Owner; Not much is known about Farrel since Luis doesn't talk much about him. Any fond memories she has of the man are locked in her heart and kept there. Those that have been with their tavern since the day it opened all remember Farrel as a kind, strong man and a loving husband. Farrel was a half-giant. He had died from a fall off the roof which instantly broke his neck.
Distinguishing Features:
- Horns: Her horns are light brown and are more useful for head-butting someone into submission than they are for any real piercing of anyone's flesh, not that Luis is a violent individual but the option is there none the less. She doesn't seem too embarrassed by her horns and might even adorn them with something every now and again if she finds something that would look alright. Luis takes care of her horns. No matter her form her horns are always visible.
Pointed Ears: Her ears are pointed similarly to elven ears. There is nothing particularly fancy about them but she does have them pierced and will often adorn them with pretty earrings and the like. Much like her horns this particular feature is visible no matter what form she is in.
Goat Legs: Unless she performs 'Trickery' her legs are shaped like that of a goat. She doesn't really have a reason to hide her legs from view and the reason why she did it in the first place is now deceased and out of her life. Luis has gotten lazier and lazier about when she performs the 'Trickery' or not especially since she has a rather energetic child to look after she doesn't often have time or inclination to think about whether or not to hide her legs for her own amusement. Naturally she doesn't wear any pants when she prefers to walk about in her 'true form' but her modesty is somehow very much preserved, it's probably better not to ask questions. The explanation might make your head hurt.
Tail: Her tail is what might cause some question as to whether or not she is a 'true blood' satyr. It is longer than a goat's tail and ends in a blood red tuft of hair (matching her hair color). Luis will be the first to admit that her bloodline is rather mixed but since a majority of her family tree is filled with satyrs she does not really feel the need to split hairs and simply proclaims her race to be that of the satyr bloodline.
Odd Tidbits:
- Trickery: Power; The ability to hide her true form from others. Most of the time it is active usually others only see a short-ish woman with pointed ears and horns. Since the death of her husband, however, she is steadily getting lazier about keeping it up.
Imperfect Trickery: Flaw; She is unable to hide her true self completely for some reason. Luis doesn't particularly care enough about the skill to look into why this is the case.
Soil Alcohol: By touching her fingertip into an alcoholic drink she can make it taste very bitter to the point that it would be considered undrinkable. It takes a couple of moments to activate and she only uses it when someone displeases her and she feels like being very passive aggressive. If the target insists on drinking more after noting the bitter taste they will eventually start wretching up all the alcohol they had drank that night, thus sobering them up rather easily.
Cause Impotency: Mostly directed at men this power can cause a man who thought he was 'ready and willing' to suddenly not be so when the moment comes to enter coitus. Again this power is activated by touch and not really used unless she feels rather angered by the person in question and since she wants to deal with people that anger with her as little as possible (much less touch them willingly) the power goes rarely used.
