i am!! most definitely (:
i hear our drill is going to be rather tricky, though..
so that part i'm iffy about lol.
but everything else,
i just can't wait!

I'm so excited. I'm now an upperclassmen so I get to boss around the underclassmen. I won't be mean though.

My best marching band experiance. well Last year in our drill we had a 16 count jazz run and of course we were in seperated lines and half the lines went left and the other half went right but it was ever other line and it looked so cool.

Funniest has to be last year we didn't have an official practice feild so we used the schools parking lot. it was 20 yards to short (meaning those who had to go way out on the edges had to step over a curb) and there was also 1 light pole smack dab in the center of the "feild" it was so fun we were marching one day and we hear *SMACK* the drum majors stop us get off thier ladders and run to the light pole and turns out a trumpet play was slide marching to the left and ran straight into the light pole. So funny. Of course the trumpet was ok

I'll be a sophomore at my band camp! Even though I'm not a squadleader, I can still help out a bit. We're going to be playing music from an opera called Carmen, anyone heard of it?

Funniest band moment: While we were practicing in our school's parking lot for our show last year, there was an accident about a mile from our school. Then a fire truck was coming around us and then u-turned as was coming back straight at us. There are normally cones that block off the section we practice in, but they ran over those and we're headed for our mellophone and colorgaurd section (I was one of the mellophone) and didn't show any sign of stopping or at least honking (oh no!). At first we were a bunch of deer in the headlights until it was about a few feet away when we all ran to one side to let it pass. Then they kept on going smiling! Talk about creepy, but hilarious that we almost got run over by a fire truck. >.<

I'll be a sophomore too... Were doing Rocky this year.

funniest moment would have to be when our drum major broke the stand....they one they had to stand on... rofl oh and then there was this time when he ripped his pants trying to jump over a fence,,, xp
