So for the last week I've had a constant stomachache (have also been downtherebleeding but cramps feel different than tummy ache) and have mostly thought that my body hated me...and I woke up today and it was just fine, and had a bowl of cereal. And it came back REALLY bad. So I made the connection...and then I waited for it to go away, which took like hours, and had a DQ shake...and it totally came back but not as bad as it did with the actual milk. And then had some of Jenna's icecream and it got worse.
I'm guessing it's part of the 'changes my body is going through' because of the estrogen meds, but it SUCKS BALLS. I LOVE milk and have milk ALL the damn time and seriously go through two gallons a week myself.
Just to make sure it is milk that's causing it and it is just stuff that the estrogen is doing I'm going to bring it up with my endocrinologist nest time I see her...which is thursday so I don't have to wait long.
DDD: but srsly it sucks balls.

I might be lactose intolerant, myself. Sometimes, when I eat dairy products, my stomach gets all bloated and gasy. I haven't been to the doctor about it, though.
You could try soy milk like Lexii suggests. Another thing you could try is rice milk, which you can get at places like New Leaf Market (if you have those where you live). It tastes good, but has a strange aftertaste at times. It's toleratable, but it tastes kind of... soapy in your mouth. I know it exists because I had to go on a detox diet when I was younger, and had to drink it a LOT. So... yeah. XD

Hmm, I kinda know what you mean. I take my 'pill' at 10pm every night and during the school I usually have slimfast for breakfast, which had milk in it, and after I would get like half way though it I would feel like I was going to throw up. It would usually go away after about 20 minutes and it wouldn't happen if I drank milk later in the day. Weird.
Silk Vanilla Soy Milk rocks my socks. It tastes odd sometimes as first, but it is sooooo good. Hopefully it is just a passing thing (maybe once a week monthly).

I don't know what's up with my body, sometimes my body will pretend it's lactose intolerant. Usually it's connected to how healthy I'm eating. If I haven't been eating well I can't have dairy products. Well I can, I just have to suffer afterward. If I am eating well, I do much better. I mean, I still get kind of an uncomfortable feeling, but it's 10000x easier and not as painful. So maybe you can hope it's a phase, is all I'm saying.

Q: o: I'll hope it's a phase then. I'll see what my endocrinologist says on thursday

I'm lactose intolerant too...I have been since I was a little kid. So I don't really know milk surprised I can only drink a little bit like what's in an ice coffee.
Actually I've heard that being lactose intolerant is actually the normal way, tolerance was developed through a mutation that spread to the West. Most Asians are lactose intolerant. And so are Hungarians 'cause we've come here from Asia...But I don't know how true this all is sweatdrop

X-men, here comes Sibby! ^__^ But to be honest, I've never had to deal with any type of lactose intolerance, and I can't imagine it'd be fun... cheese and milk are <3. Hopefully it's just a temporary thing... o.o
