So last band practice...my band took a doom direction, when no one in it even knows doom even exist pretty much. But we recorded one of the tracks and now its on our myspace, what do you think, think we should keep going in this direction? the myspace. WARNING! bad recording quality. And just so you realize, we will probably do whatever we want anyways, I'm just looking for feedback from others. Oh and the doom sounding one is titled Nazawrath is better than me.

Not too sure about that being Doom, but it's kind of hard to tell.
Do you have an idea of what you would want the Doom to be? Slower Darker, more laidback feel, epic and aggressive, or more mournful style?

Probably a Slow, dark, mournful kind of doom with random fast agressive beats. And I think PandasRGr1mm is right, that recording is closer to black metal than doom...but the other stuff we were playing sounded me doomish. Edit: wait, theres epic doom? that something I need to hear.

For that description I'd say listen to stuff from Cathedral's Forest of Equilibrium (and probably the closest to full on harsh vocals you'll get in Doom). Some epic doom: Candlemass Doomsword Mirror of Deception Scald Solitude Aeturnus Solstice Spiritus Mortis

I'll check those out (with the exception of Candlemass, I already know them)
